The rumour mill on our forum is reporting we're after James Jennings as well as Connor. Add them to Steve Jennings, and how long is it before were after Dale too?

Please god, don't let it happen. I'm still trying to erase the memories of Brett Ormerod.
Massive difference between Heskey and Ormerod though, Heskey was international quality for a short time, Ormerod not even close. He would never drop down here yet though.

Personally I thought Ormerod was decent for us. For some reason people thought he'd come and score loads of goals, but that hadn't been his game for the previous 20 years. If we'd have signed a striker who could score he would have been a great foil. Ok he did miss a sitter in the play off Final but he was the best player on the pitch at Kidderminster to get us there in the first place.

That's why I say there is a massive difference between the two. Ormerod has never been a goalscorer, but Heskey certainly has. And yeah I never really had a problem with Ormerod, he worked his socks off most of the time (which is his game) and ran the show to send us to Wembley.

Know very little about Matt Robinson, but I think he's just a workhorse, which would seriously put Rob Evans' position in doubt, which he needs so i'd be happy with him.

Matt Robinson was supposed to be signing for Daggers according to Woking fans.

Correct.

I'd have liked us to sign him. Hard-working, solid midfielder. Nothing too spectacular but good enough for this level.

Makes more sense for him to go to Dagenham than us. I can't say I know too much about him but seems a solid sort of young squad player.

Matt Rhead being watched by both Barrow and Wrexham, though you will have to spend some money if you want him according to our local paper today.

our interest would probably depend on what happens with Cook - If Cook was to stay I can't see us having any interest in Rhead - not having already signed Hannah and 6'4" Richie Bennett. If Cook leaves however we might be interested - maybe the Rhead/Hannah partnership that your forum was dreaming about will happen then ;)

As I said, if you offer enough money, I expect he will go, it's quite simple!

I think most would sell with £30k-£40k.

Rumours true that Hannah is on £2k/week?

That said, does Matt Rhead really want to up sticks at his age to, say, Wrexham for a year (on the basis Mills seems reluctant to hand our 2 year deals)?

If he does, it'll be for the security and money of Barrow even though he'll be travelling further.

Matt Rhead and Gary Mills seems an odd sort of match. Can't see that happening.

There's a lot more to Matt Rhead than just being good in the air, he has a great touch and ball control which is much better than a lot of current Imps players. He just has no pace otherwise I would expect he'd easily be a FL regular.

Same. Plus we've already got our big man up top in Jordan White, so I imagine he'll now be looking for a much smaller type of player. Then again we do need at least another 2 strikers, but I doubt Rhead would sign to risk sitting on the bench.

Also paying fees for 30 year olds isn't the most prudent financial management. Leave that to the bankrolled clubs.

To be fair I can't see him moving to Wrexham either. Barrow allegedly offered a 5 figure fee before so if anywhere I expect it would be likely to be back playing for #ilovespendingmoney Cox.

No idea why I put Parkin, must be thinking of some other big spending people!

Not a chance we are in for Rhead. We've got fuck all money, last thing we will do is spend on someone with no resale value. He's clearly going to go to Barrow on a 3 year deal or something mental.

Know nothing about it, but I've always wanted us to sign him. He runs the show most of the time when he plays us. Pretty sure that rumour has been mentioned in previous windows though too.

Well, they usually sign someone from
us ! TBH, I'm not too fussed if this is true. Not been the same player for a while.

He's been off his game for a while now. I'm not sure he's been fully fit for the last year or so. I'd still like him to stay but losing him wouldn't be as bad as it would have been a couple of years ago

I'm not that arsed if Rhead goes, I don't think he'll fit into how the Cowleys want to play. Nice option to have off the bench though, as he was at Mansfield.

This gets raised every transfer window. I doubt there is any truth about us being interested whatsoever.

See also Damien Reeves, Daniel Nti, And any number of ex-players.

Kiki Musampa was a personal highlight.
