Was really impressed with him when we played them. Tall, good on the ball, decent dead ball. He looked very good for his age.

He would have scored a lot more if he'd had the service he deserved, though, to be fair, we were without his main provider, Sean Shields, for the final five or six games of the season. I believe he was offered a new contract by Cambridge, but, being down the pecking order there, I wonder how many starts he would actually get. A move to Notts might be financially attractive, and he'd stand a better chance of being a regular starter. If he does sign for you, you're getting a strong, quick player who gives it everything, all game, every game.

Funny you should say that. There’s someone adamant on our forum that he’s leaving but won’t say where. This guy is known for talking utter garbage 95% of the time mind you. He’s under contract so you’d have to pay a fee.

Very clever player, can hold the ball up and bring others into play. Like a target man when he’s got his back to goal but more like a poacher when he gets around the box. Got double figure goals for us this season despite being injured half of the season.

Not quite sure that Hyde’s skill set matches up to Murphy’s but then he’s injured most of the time so you’ll rarely have them both on together.

Decent player for this level, will get you goals if he’s fit.

I’d be happy with that, liked him in League 2 and I think he’d be excellent in this league.

Yeah, I liked him in League 2. Wanted us to keep him when we let him go and he's gone on and got 25+ appearances in a League 2 promotion winning side this season. Would be a great signing at this level.

Technically good and a decent finisher but he can quite easily be marked out of games. Not the most physical.

Seems that Whitfield is off back into the league, with Bradford rumoured to be the destination. Was fantastic for us in the first half of the season but his effectiveness dropped off once Nemane got injured on the other wing and defences could concentrate on him. Decent player at this level and could never fault his effort but not really sure he's League 2 standard.

Cant say I’m surprised about Bradford being rumoured. Pretty sure he’s originally from around that area. A lot of our fans noticed Wild talking to him at full time for quite a prolonged period after we beat you at your place.

1 in 2 at this level. However here's the kicker. IF you can keep him fit. Been out half the season. Still managed 12 or 13 league goals though despite that.

After this Covid year I wouldn't be surprised if he wanted to move back down south after all I doubt he will have seen his family in yonks.
