just a reality check - NO player has moved from NL to the League for more than £500k (up front) which was Jack Taylor to Peterborough this season

Vardy was £1m to Leicester but Fleetwood had already been promoted so doesn't count - and Tshimanga isnt a Vardy sorry!

Absolute Maximum you can expect as an initial lump sum would be £600k I reckon - still not to be sniffed at mind! take out your frost covers from that of course....

Haha that must have been during your little hissy fit. Takes an impressive lack of introspection for somebody to claim that they themselves are living in other people's heads having thrown their toys out of their pram and blocked folk last month.

But anyway, in response to a few of us apparently shitting ourselves over #Kabongoals potential departure, it's hard to express that you're not concerned with something without actually... y'know... posting that you're not concerned with it when the method of communication is an online message board.

Tshimanga money + Chelsea money + Asante returning + James Rowe's signing track record = we still have a good shot at winning the league, which is enough to keep my pants unsoiled.

Have we? I’d take Taylor over Miller, but granted, there’s not much in it. Mitchell? I think there’s lots of room for improvement, but of course we can’t spend the dollars on proven players that a big club like Chesterfield can.

I don’t think Rowe will go anywhere until he’s achieved something. He needs to get us out of this division. Once he’s done that then he will be off at the first better opportunity without a doubt.

Hopefully members of our boardroom read this forum so that they can have a bit of a reality check as you say and accept any bid that comes in for Tshimanga because no one has EVER moved for more than £500k and Iesty says the maximum we could ever dream of receiving is £600k.
