I this Vermijl bloke fucking dogshit then or what our kid?

It seems we've turned out attention to him, after missing out of Darikwa.

Can't say I know much about him, but from the couple of comments I've seen from Wednesday fans, it's not looking too spiffing in all honesty.

Give me something to cling onto. Please. Anything.

He was at Man United, that's all I can offer you, I'm convinced he's not that bad but when you compare him to Jack Hunt he's a bit shit.

Where you hearing this? The last I heard was a Leeds ITK'er reporting that he was in the city to sign a contract... when it turns out that he's actually at a funeral in Belfast!

tbh we haven't seen alot of him ourselves, from what i've seen he looks ok going forward, not fantastic defensively but its hard to judge him really on what we've seen

Phil Hay...he's the main LUFC reporter at the Yorkshire Evening Post. He knows the score. 3 year deal with an option for a fourth, fee in excess of £1m, medical still to take place.

I'd be astonished if it didn't happen based on the source.

Just been retweeted by a local journalist down here too. Can't believe this; Gray, Odubajo and now Dallas. Blurgh.

You'll be getting an honest pro, works hard and can fill in at a variety of positions - but most effective as a winger. Quick, direct and can get the better of a full back easily. Excellent striker of the ball and a great finisher too. Genuinely shocked and disappointed to lose him (as he was one of my favourite players) and for that price too :(

Sounds ideal for us then really. Him and Byram supporting Wood could be a nice little recipe. Glad we're going about our business quietly and effectively this summer. Just wish we would sign another centre half but it's not going to happen. Our midfield is looking pretty strong now should this be completed.

If Dallas has gone for that price that is an absolute travesty. Was absolutely superb in a lot of games last season, and was set to become a key player now Pritchard has gone.

The summer seemed to be going so well... don't understand why we are selling everyone.

I can only imagine the club have eyes on a better player to come in, but it seems ridiculous that we'd be letting go a player with great potential, who fits our system very well, for such a small price, when there seems no need to let it happen.

In Benham we trust, but the timing of all of these outgoing transfers could really affect our season.

I don't know why you would get rid of a such a decent player for that price when you're not going to get that proven quality elsewhere. Doesn't make sense to me.

Apparently (according to Portuguese journalist on Twitter) we're close to signing Paolo Hurtado. Peruvian international winger, played in the Copa America.

Doesn't seem to have played too much of late though. 42 games for Pacos de Ferreira (Portugal) and 10 games for Penarol (Uruguay) in the past three seasons.

Can't read to much into wednesday fans views on Vermijl. He's hardly played for them.

True..... But he's hardly played for anyone and we are his most recent team.

Makes sense. FFP to think about and Brentford must have among the lowest, if not the the lowest, revenue streams in the division. Even if Benham is beneficent, you have to balance the books somehow.

Played 30 games for Nec on loan. There's a good report on his time there. It's hard to judge thought as the dutch league isn't the best.

Stuart Dallas is a great signing for Leeds, the Leeds fans will love him. Direct winger with a real eye for goal. A Real shame to see him moving on, can't get my head around why we're selling so cheap either..

The rules have been massively relaxed this season though. And it's likely one or two others will go anyway, so we really didn't need the money from this.

We have signed James Perch from Wigan. Pretty happy about this, it was a position that we really needed to fill.

They don't relax until next season.

It's still only a £2m loss allowed.

Meanwhile we're handing a trial to Ryan Colclough. Looks like our Sako replacement will be a guy who was recently let go by Crewe Alexandra.

Christ on a fucking bike...

Only because of his attitude though mate, he's a good player but has an intefering father who thinks his son is the next Messi. He basically told Crewe he wouldn't sign/stay so was off.

Yeah I read something about that. It sounds similar to when we had Max Clayton on trial last season. Normally I wouldn't mind us signing players like this for the under21's or such, but the lack of ambition shown by the club this season is very worrying.

Our owner, CEO and manager have all come out in recent months and said we will be much stronger this season than last, but they haven't lived up to what they have said at all. For example no disrespect to Brentford, but they have completely blown us out of the water with some of their recruitment in the close season, a team we are supposedly competing with. We even missed out on Chris Wood to Leeds...

We need a striker, a winger and a back up goalkeeper urgently but I fear we wont get any, and even of we do, we'll leave it too late and spend over the odds on some average player on the final day. We had so much potential this season to push on, and our lack of ambition in the close season has made me question what the club really wants. Frustration is an understatement.

We've just spent £350,000 on Jonas Knudsen from Denmark to replace Mings. Very happy with this signing, sounds just what we need!

Just a RB to go imo
