Needs to sort his head out, has the talent but needs to stop being a dickhead off it. Don't say Grayson will sort him too because the only person than can sort him is himself. The tosser.

Nixon reckons we've joined Hull in the race for Andre Gray. I fucking hope not, don't rate him at all.

Agreed. And 8 million? No thanks! He should have bagged a hat trick at the ipro last season.

Good player and they're well within their rights to ask for 8m, but it's a lot...

Dwight Gayle on loan to Fulham, which sends Matt Smith even further down the pecking order. Also - Smith wasn't part of the match day squad yesterday.

He is absolutely crucial to our team and we don't need the money. If anyone wants him then it's gonna cost a lot. :dk:

Shite for us last season.

Off the pitch, teams went away to a spa for a week in an international break, had an curfew of 12 but he rocked up at 8 am the next morning twice during the week.

I liked Hammill at Wolves, don't think he was given a fair chance and was fucked off by the previous management regime. On the pitch he has shown he can be a good player in this league (at Barnsley at least), but as SERNWA says, he tends to be a bit of a twat off the pitch which lets him down.

He played 90 mins against Colchester for a Fulham XI. You could read two things into that;

- needed 90 minutes rather than bench for first team
- on his way because not in favour

He had a couple of moments in the Prem where I thought he looked the next Kites at some stages. Was having a good game against Chelsea until that prick Lampard nearly Karl Henry'd him in half.

His market value would have been around the £1-2 mil mark a few seasons ago. Absolutely fucking insane price.

We're rumoured to be getting a CB - Jonathan Burn - on loan from Middlesbrough this morning.

Any 'boro fans (or anyone else for that matter) able to shed some info on what he's like?

Dallas to be confirmed today. Apparently we're not ruling out any more signings either which is a bit surprising but good. Still need a bit more depth even if our starting XI looks reasonable now. More likely to be loans but Cellino's policy of only making loan signing with a view to a permanent makes things more tricky - especially as we were linked with Brandon Barker at Man City. I understand the theory behind it and we've had some really average loan signings over the years, but missing out on a potential star for a year would be a shame, just because we wouldn't be able to have them permanently, would be a bit disappointing.

Any Huddersfield fans on here that can tell us about Adam Hamill?

Powell was asked today if he was coming to us and he refused to answer, so I think that means yes :)

Popular with female paramedics.

The phrase "huge potential" has followed him around his entire career and will still be stamped on the back of his shirt the day he hangs up his boots.

Sheyi Ojo on loan to us from Liverpool it seems. Am I the only one who doesn't like loans? We have a number of very bright strikers on the verge of a breakthrough, including Bright Enobakhare. Bancessi, Bradley Reid... Given that they will always be in a sub role behind Dicko and Afobe, what does Ojo have that they don't. Yes, the obvious answer is goals, but all of those have scored.

I'd be happy with a permanent striker signing, but if it's genuinely a supporting role then I'd rather have any one of those Academy players or La Parra or Edwards.

Adam Le Fondre tweeting that he's having a medical today. Sounds like it could be Sheffield Wednesday.

Sounds like we're trying to tempt Lee Tomlin down from Middlesbrough.

I think the regular supply of seaside ice-cream, and the cafe round the corner from Dean Court that does good pies, might swing it for us.

Well he may prove me wrong but I can not see him doing anything in the prem.
