Alan Nixon. He's probably making it up.
That wouldn't surprise me, he was way off the mark with many stories in the summer. He's definitely doing a lot of dirty work for agents, that was confirmed with the Jesse Lingard story linking him to us in the summer.

He said yesterday that we're going to predominantly be looking to add loans in January, despite us only being allowed one more loan signing this season :ffs:

Taarabt. We can all dream, but not happening.

Not that good is he? I appreciate we probably wouldn't be able to afford his wages because of the past clubs he's been at and the salaries he's been on, but he was out on his ear at QPR, and has gone to Benfica and has now been dropped from their B team?

Seems like a waste of a talent.

Do you not remember that Championship season when he scored 20 from midfield and ripped us a new arsehole on both occasions? He's still only 26 as well and despite going off the boil someone needs to help get him back on track. Neil Warnock, who got the best out of him said that he's the type of player that just needs an arm round him. Either way he was good enough for AC Milan's side as recently as last year, that's good enough for me.

Won't happen anyway.

I would hate Taarabt.

Greedy bastard with a stinking attitude. Probably why the B team of a side in one of the poorest leagues in Europe don't want him.

Brighton apparently want Bridcutt back in January. We have the option to extend though. Hope he doesn't try force a move out because he was supposedly really good last week.

You could always play Taarabt alongside Dwight Gayle.

No room for Jesse Lingard or Andre Gray then though.

What a headache for Cotterill.

Would still leave us quite weak at the back though. If only we had a brilliant centre back, someone like Richard Stearman for example. Fulham wouldn't sell him though, great player that lad.

If only they'd spread that money out on numerous players, instead of trying to spunk it on an unrealistic target. Their position could be quite different right now...

Really, really can't see it (for a multitude of reasons). Thought it was a pretty lazy link by the Sun in the first place, surprised so much has been made of it - almost entirely from Evans too, it seems.

Jordan Pickford will be going back to Sunderland in January. Massive blow.

Although I think we will move quickly to bring back Sam Johnstone.

Luke Varney signed after recovering from his long term injury. He did ok last season so I guess it's fair enough, he's going to be 5th choice striker anyway.

Apparently we want Dwight Gayle on loan from Bristol City, with a view to a permanent move if promoted. Reportedly willing to pay his 35k per week wages. :o

He was unbelievable that year, but then they changed manager and the move stopped. He would do nothing, then magic, then nothing again. But, he was a joy to watch. Such a wasted talent though, he could have been great but he never lived up to his own hype. We had an offer for 15 million on him from PSG.

Great at the flair stuff, but didnt want to do the standard things, like pass and move. Or just move, the fat bastard.

Heard a rumour we've offered 12.5m take it or leave for Jordan Rhodes, sauce is usually decent.

You'd expect they'll leave it, given they rejected 15m from Middlesbrough as they didn't want to sell to a team in the same division.

Aye but their deal was with add ons ours is a straight 12.5m, that said its a ludicrous amount of money.
