Why mate? And why would he leave Wolves for us?

Seen today that QPR are looking at Huddlestone as well, that'd be a top signing, although I'd hate to think what his wages are, and how QPR are still allowed to pay that sort of money.

We arent paying over the odds for players any more. We have lost out on players already as we wouldn't break our wage structure. I think it is about 15k, but could be wrong.

I read somewhere the other day that Sandro is on 70k per week.

Huddlestone on 15k p/w? Can't see it myself, likelihood is it's just paper talk though.

Has he signed a new deal recently?

My uncle is good friends with Charlie and his dad as he orchestrates building properties in the Poole area, and he was only on just over 10k p/w in the Premier League. Genuinely honest.

Madness if true, he was on that at Burnley, seriously underpaid then.

He was tabled a new offer about half way through last season, which as you can imagine was a hugely significant payrise, but that was the last I heard of it. Just looked it up, seems he's OOC at the end of this season, imagine he'll hold out until then and go onto bigger things in the summer.

Ojo is playing for Liverpool U21's this evening so presume that loan deal is cancelled. Sign him, never play him, sign Byrne, never play him, talk up Van La Parra, don't play him, try to sell him, loan him out, sign some polish winger instead...

Smithers, I've just seen the most heroic dog on television. He pulled a toddler from the path of a speeding car, then pushed a criminal in front of it. Find this dog. I want to make him my Executive Vice President.

Uh, yes sir. In the meantime, here's Frank Grimes. (Burns stares blankly.) The self-made man?

What? Oh, yes, that fellow. Mmm, put him somewhere out of the way, and find that dog!

I reckon there's a few players in that QPR team on more than £15k a week.

£15k? Haha.. I reckon most top Championship players would be on that before they get promotion wage rises. The average wage in the league is supposed to be 8-9k so there must be quite a few on 15k+ to make that true.

What's Wallace from Pompey like? Looked a decent signing.

He's hardly been given a chance to be honest. The few games he has played though he hasn't really stood out as anything better than what we currently have.

He had some assists in pre season and was looking okay but then got injured and missed about 5 weeks. He could probably do with a month on loan somewhere if we aren't going to be using him.

Austin is currently on "around 20k per week" apparently, according to a local paper.

Bollocks that QPR have that few players on over £15k a week. I know they've let a lot of players go, but not long ago their wage bill was a big as Dortmund's, and that was the season they bought Austin. I'd be very surprised if he wasn't on around £25k.

Huddlestone is on £40k or something, so no way he'd move on for a contract on £15k.

As far as I know, Austin's contract wasn't much more than 10k p/w. That's not me trying to act 'ITK', just passing on what I've been told by what I've already said is someone who knows the Austin family.

Unless there has been a clause in his contract that has increased his pay rise, or he has signed some sort of agreement, he'll be on the same as what he was before.

But there's also a reason why he didn't push too hard for a move in the summer. Especially after just breaking into the England team, if it was purely football reasons he'd have been first out of the door with a transfer request.

We do have some on over the new limit set purely because they were already here. I meant new signings.

Austin is one of the lesser paid. We were offering 40k last year but he said no. He is out of contract in the summer.

Green Sandro etc are on high wages. The year we went up a lot of (not all) the overpaid mercenaries were out on loan so we weren't paying all of the wages.

Just to clarify, I was saying a wage cap for new players this season.

Derby set to sign a midfielder from the same club we signed Kodjia for. £1.25m.

A chap called Abdoul Camara, Guinea International.

Also linked with a loan move for Leicester's Ben Chilwell, along with Brighton. The PL ex-top 4 are all keen on a permanent move for him though.

I wouldn't worry about Bournemouth, they've been linked with just about every half decent player in this division.

Angers are 3rd in the league, so he must have something about him. Didn't realise Kodjia had come from them.

Did you see our twitter page was full of fans from whatever side he came from, saying thanks for buying him! Seems a popular guy...
