So Robinson has found his best combination and it doesn't include these two. Poyet was never going to stay unless he got regular games and, to be brutal, good as he was (and will only get better) he didn't settle the side like Potter does. Benavente was obviously a punt that didn't work out, but Aguza always looked more suited to the English game and is now regularly on the bench which shows that he is probably considered the understudy to Potter.

And I wouldn't hold your breath for a decent striker incoming this window. Maynard has that shirt for the rest of this season.

We're supposed to be in for him as well according to the Bristol Post after a move fell through last minute over the summer. Any sign of that from your end?

Cotterill said at the end of the summer that we'll go back in for him, so it'll be interesting to see if anything materialises from that.
