According to Sky Sources we've had a bid rejected by Brentford for Alan Judge.

Brentford fans any idea on the rough amount you think you'd accept?

£5-8m I reckon. No reason we'd sell for any less. Easily one of the best midfielders in the division.

Not a clue, come out of nowhere, just chasing it up now.
Supposedly Burnley have also bid for Judge and had it rejected too.

I'd guess something around £3m.

I've seen one reporting suggesting it's £4million we've bid, dunno how true that is though

Lafferty and Stokes. How uninspiring.

Judge should go to a big club instead.

Imagine Judge would cost a fair bit. We managed to get a £9.25m offer out of Burnley for Gray, and with Judge the joint top assist-maker in the four English leagues since the beginning of last season, and having hit double figures in goals for this season by the halfway mark, I'd suggest we'd be settling for not reaching the play-offs if we sold him.

Not that surprised, he has six months left on his contract so a move this January is always likely.

If we get £2m+ for him i'll be ecstatic. Been in great form this season but always the doubt that it's a one off. He is also really awkward to fit into any of our systems.

Would you mind having an ex-Blade?

I'd mind having an ex-Blade, particularly one with just a single good half season at this level under his belt, fee is £750k

Bargain if he can carry on where he's started this season, it's worth the gamble at that price.

Can't imagine it being just £750k (not seen it rumoured as that anywhere yet). Not sure why we would risk it for that little as we'd need a replacement.

That said, six months ago most Reading fans would have paid another club £750k to take him off our hands.. His turnaround this season has been remarkable.

Apparently Wednesday only bid 1 million for Judge. What would even be the point of that if not just to unsettle him.

It's amazing the number of tiny bids we've received for our players in the last couple of years. £500k for Forshaw was a bit ridiculous. And £1m for Gray at the beginning of last window.

Clubs know they'll have to pay a lot more than that for our players. Wish they'd just be reasonable and professional about their business for once.

It's also incredibly frustrating that so many bids for our players play out in the press. That and the derisory bids we get show massive disrespect towards us from other teams - just attempts from others to unsettle our players and destabilise the club. Especially as it almost never happens when Brentford bid for a player, our incoming transfers mostly only come out in the press when a deal is all but done.

Aye it's a bit naughty on our part but it's part and parcel of Football i'm afraid, it's probably an opening gambit from us.

Bristol Evening Post reckon we're going back in for Kermogant in this window, after the deal fell through on deadline day in the summer because Bournemouth didn't capture Grabban.

That'd be alright for a season or two.

Cristian Benavente released, utterly embarrassing and Robinson showing how poor of a manager he can be.
