So it looks like Burnley bid for Judge and Tarkowski in the week leading up to our fixture with them, unsettled both players, bids were so far short (£1.7m for Tarks despite us turning down £4m+£1m in the summer for him, and a paltry £1m for Judge).

Since the game Burnley haven't followed up their interest in either player. Classy...

Hope Hemmings puts in a cheeky bid for them this morning.

With our current form, I wouldn't have thought a bid would be necessary :D

It's a common theme that when teams come to our place in dire straits they always leave with something. I'd rather we were playing you bang in form tbh.

Hard worker, tall, strong, good defensively, comfortable going forward with the ball at his feet, ok pace and his crossing is generally sound.

Does lack any real skill though and is nervous in front of goal, his touch can let him down at times too.

Not really a stand-out player but a solid 6 or 7/10 man who can occasionally be a match winner whether he's at wing back or an out and out wide man. The best comparison i've seen him given is Kevin Kilbane. If he could improve his finishing then he could score a tonne with the positions he finds himself in.

Sounds like there is nothing in this though if no recall is in place, this window anyway. Where has the rumour come from? i've seen nothing.

It wouldn't surprise me if Boro asked us to cancel the loan I think we would, especially if Reach wanted to go to QPR. Bit like the Will Keane situation, I think we tend to try and be accommodating to clubs we have good relationships with as it can hopefully benefit us further down the line, eg I'm sure Boro will have plenty of quality players available for loan next season if they have gone up to the Prem and we might get a favourable pick of the buffet.

Nicolai Boilsen's move to Wolves is off. We had a bid accepted but he was just using us to let bigger European clubs know he is in the shop window. Glad we pulled the plug on him if that is his attitude.

We have had a bid of 3m rejected for someone called Emiliano Sala from Nantes though. Never heard of the guy.

Yeah, I agree, probably pays to be a bit submissive in situtations like this.

Reach is a good player but I don't think it would really hurt us if we lost him, as it means we would just play Gally out wide in a front three and Cunningham as the wing back in a 5-3-2 as we have in recent games. I'd rather have him in the squad than not but we would get by ok imo.

The Wednesday
3m is the fee.

Looked unfit when we first got him but six in his last six.

He's got his move now and new contract, can go back to not being arsed again.

Did he ever get the box he wanted at Hillsborough?

Scott Golbourne the latest link. This is more realistic - OOC in the summer, came through our academy and his family still live here. Would be a vast improvement on what we have - get it done.

I'll raise Bristol Ciy's Ben Gladwin and Alex Pearce with a Lucciano Becchio, Andrew Shinnie and Chris Burke.

The return of Becchio trumps them on his own to be fair.

Only back for that one gloating post.

Signed Aaron Collins from Newport apparently.

So we've gone from Ajax's captain to Newport County in 48 hours

I Like Golbourne, he's your typical Championship standard fullback. Would rather he stayed but he's out of contract in the summer and with his family links can see him going to you.

Youtube his goal vs Swindon

Diagouraga is going to Leeds. Odd, isn't he Brentford's lynchpin in the middle?

The best bit about Rotherham coming up is housing all of our deadwood. Collins, Camp, Halford, Derbyshire. Linked with Fox and now Burke apparently...

Chris Burke is alright. OOC in the summer so if we get a fee you can have him. He's hardly played this year.

I refuse for the word deadwood to be used in the same sentence as Camp and Derbyshire. Quality.

Not heard owt about a fee but signing today.

He was last year, but it seems to be a bit of a one off. His attitude has been terrible since the summer, and he's been a big part of why our form is so bad at the monent.

Hope we get something like £1.5-2m for him

Chris Burke was alright a couple of years ago but now past it, other two are shit, especially Becchio.

Would rather Bristol City's signings over yours tbh.

Despite M Dogg saying Burke is decent and Birmingham fans all over #rufc commenting on Shinnie's quality, you've come up with that.

Typical you, wouldn't know a decent player if you saw one.

Proven championship quality in Shinnie and Burke or that flop Gladwin, fuck me Bristol fans will probably agree with me.

Not sure how you come to the conclusion Becchio is shit, he has hardly played in the last two years so what do you base your judgement on?

He may or may not work out but shit is the one thing he has never been.

Just seen the blasphemy about Becchio, certifies what I think about you. He bagged in 2 in 5 for us last year, unfit and overy eight, god knows how much havoc he can cause now. Stick to NFL.

You've managed to misquote me when my post was only 5 posts and 5 minutes above yours. Come on mate, if you're gonna lie to prove your point don't use evidence on the same page.

I said he's ''alright''. Far from decent and barely in the squad most weeks.

He said he was alright, not decent. Come on Stevie, learn to read eh?

They are 3 'past it' players looking for one last payday (in reference to Becchio and Burke, Shinnie is just poor). As M-Dogg also puts it, your transfer policy is just to sign a lot of deadwood players and pray it's enough to keep you up each season. Not sure if you'll be so lucky with that approach this season.
