Had a 500k bid rejected for Sam Winnall. No clue.

Mason confirmed for Wolves, fee rumoured to be £3.5 million.

Good luck with him, you'll need it!

Preferred to play those strikers than McCormack on a regular basis and moaned that he had to pick McCormack sometimes because he was a 'fans favourite'. There's literally nothing I would get out of randomly saying how bad Warnock was here. I could list all of the downfalls but it would take me a long time. He may be ok on a 10 game contract sort of thing if allowed no transfer decisions but leave him to build a team over a couple of years and it will fail.

Of course our owners were shit at that time but Warnock still brought in a load of his old favourites aged 32 on lengthy contracts who weren't very good, alienated our better players in Becchio, McCormack and Lees, sent Barkley back to Everton as he couldn't break up that magical midfield duo, and was a total arsehole to boot.

Strange that he didn't want to utilise a flair player like Barkley when he's been the only person who could manage and get the best out of the temperamental Taarabt.

I'm sure all of what you say is spot on but to be honest though I'm not really bothered that he did badly with you, no one since has done much better. I don't think it makes him a bad manager either, Tony Pulis was despised (still is) by our fans and is regarded as one of our worst ever managers, but would you turn him down at Leeds based on what our fans say? Considering the jobs he's done elsewhere I doubt it.

Think it's wrong to write him off based on his age as well, I think he's still got it highlighted by the fact that QPR won more games under his 4 game interim than they've done in Hasslebaink's 11, who's being hailed as one of the most exciting up-and-coming managers about. I'd only want Warnock until the end of the season anyway, reevaluate it after that.

Is there any small glimmer of hope that you can give me that he is even worth a fraction of that fee? I know i'm scraping the barrel but that is a truly awful signing, especially for 3m or so.

I genuinely think Kenny Jackett still thinks he's managing a club like Millwall sometimes. Terrible signing.

If you had signed him a few years ago then possibly, however he seems to have gone so far backwards that we have well and truly robbed you blind.

Watch him now bag 20 goals by the end of the season!!

Like I say, give him a squad he can't change and 15 games in an attempt to keep you up and he might be able to get fire in people's bellies and motivate them. I do believe that his management style is woefully outdated though and that'd be my concern if someone took him on for more of a long-term project (whether he actually will do that again is up for debate anyway). Of course sometimes clubs and players/managers don't click but they do elsewhere so it's impossible to say ultimately, just giving my opinion on his time here (which may look better than it actually was from the outside).

I could just about cope with Warnock I suppose as long as it was made very clear it would only be a short term jobby until the end of the season when we'd appoint someone more long term.

But even then I wouldn't be happy. Yeah he might be able to come in and give people a kick up the arse but that's actually not what this team needs, the attitude's never been in question.

I'd rather we just got that long-term person in now. Or if we couldn't get the right man right now, doesn't want to risk a relegation battle or whatever reason, then just give it to Pemberton until the summer.

You've got Fuckall, we've got Sam Winnall, Sam Winnall, Sam Winnall.

Our late push for the playoffs is down the drain if we lose him.

Sometimes I lie in bed and secretly dream about Wolves going bankrupt, I refuse to support another team properly and continue to support both my local side from where I grew up, and Greenock Morton, entirely via Twitter.

I get on with my life and stop wasting it supports a tinpot fuck of a club who masquerades as a club that matches the ambition it showed when I was 9 bastard years old.

that squad is complete and utter scum c*** when you look at it now.

Deniss Rakels (Latvian striker/winger) set to be announced this afternoon.

Rather concerningly Brian McDermott has hinted that this is a signing made by the owners. Given our previous recent history of signings made by the owners i'm not too excited about this one. Could still turn out great (15 in 20 this season which is a far better record than Sa managed in that league and at a lower placed club) but always a risk that they won't fit the manager's' plans.

You would have thought they at least spoke to Brian about him before doing the deal. Its the way football is going where at some clubs the manager has very little say in incoming transfers.

Hope he is better than the last player we got from the Polish league.

He does look overjoyed to be at the club. Should scare a few opposition defenders and no i don't mean McDermott.

Bullshit I'm calling.

So many of those fake ITK Twitter accounts nowadays mate, not worth reading.
I agree but it wouldn't half be nice though?
I just wondered as Blackburn were after a loan deal while we can't get anymore loans so would offer a Perm deal.
Ah well, on to the next one.

Is he any good? Can't say I know much about him to be honest, other than he was on loan at the Red Dragons earlier this season.

That a done deal? If so you've done very well there

Not yet, but looking like it will be.

They now want Sandro on loan. Yeah, gets him off the wage bill but I would rather sell than loan. His sell on value will go down with another 6 months gone on his contract.

A new striker expected at Wolves in the next couple of days, expected to be Jason Cummings or Fraizer Campbell.

The Times reporting that Stoke and West Ham are after our 20 year old centreback Jake Cooper for around £5m.

Unfortunately if that's true I can only see him being sold on. Can't see the club rejecting £5m for a player who has played less than 30 times for us.

Could have a big future, but I think staying here and getting regular game time (should be first choice for us next season) is best for his development.

Apparantly he is having a medical at Stoke today.

Really don't know what to make of it if this is true.

He's certainly not done enough to justify being worth £5m at this moment in time. But then you consider that any half decent English prospect gets inflated massively and you wonder if his value could easily increase from that with time. 20 is a very young age for a CB. Especially one who is good both with the ball in the air (6ft7?) and on the floor with a good range of passing.
