Is Sako really that good? He's unproven at Premier League level.

Problem is there is no way we have that sort of money or would spend it. The absolute best I imagine you could get from us is like £200,000. I love Grigg and I think he really, really likes playing here, I don't think we can afford him though. If anything I think another team with more money than us will come in for him.

I don't know if players have a massive say but hopefully he tries to force a move to us, you never know, your owners might not mind getting £200,000 as long as there are a few clauses thrown in.

Please?
You seem to be forgetting that we are now a Championship club, we won't be spending £500k left right and centre but considering Grigg is our biggest transfer target I can't see it being unrealistic if we go up to £500k for him

That doesn't mean much. Yes we've gone up so we get more money but all the wages we were paying now go up. We won't have the money to spend £500K on anyone. All the money from Alli is going into the training ground and our "transfer budget" will mostly all be wages.

Robbo has only spent £100K in his time here according to Toby Lock, he isn't going to spend 5 times that on one player.

I wonder if Grigg will be given a chance with us in pre season by the new manager. Despite how poor he was for us when he played he was never given a run of gametime upfront in his favoured position. A new manager with a clean slate might give him a chance and be just what he needs to continue his career with us.

Signed Alex Jones from West Brom. And linked with a loan move for Dele Alli, according to MK News.

I've heard he's been linked with about 7 clubs now, would take it with a pinch of salt. I expect him to be given a chance at Spurs, but If he will be loaned out he will most likely come here.

Hopefully not, I don't know who you have up front though tbh. As I said before hopefully you just bin him off. Why couldn't you lot get promoted ffs?

Yeah, if he's going to be loaned to a Championship club it would make sense if he went back to MK Dons. Would love us to re-sign Robert Tesche and Diego Fabbrini on a permanent deal.

To be honest it wouldn't suprise me to see him go to another club, I think he needs to learn how to play a different style of footy and it would help him to play for a different club. If he does go to you guys you'll be getting one hell of a player.

Daniel Bentley rumours still quietly floating about now and again, reminds me very much of last Summer and how we dealt with the signing of Freeman.

I expect a lot of this dealing depends on how Southend get on Saturday - so come on Wycombe :D

From what we hear, it'll be either Pritch or Alli given a chance next season at Spurs, not both, and depends on their pre season. The one not included will be loaned out to a Championship club.

Got to hope Pritch would come back if he was the one sent out on loan, but I imagine it will be Alli to miss out.

How come? They both play different positions don't they? I'd like to see Alli given a chance, think he scored 15 goals this season. I wouldn't mind having him back though...

Jamie Ward, hamstrings aside, is not a bad player on a free.

However, I cannot stand the little scrot. Complete and utter bellend. I'll of course support him assuming he signs but it just doesn't feel right. He's one of the few I didn't think would cross the divide as he has made his opinions on Forest clear.

Plus we can only offer him 10k and he was after more apparently. I guess he still has a few coins in the piggy bank he's collected off the City Ground floor which he's collected after his antics over the years.

Ergh.

£10k over a 4 year contract is why he'll accept lower, if you believe the journo's.

To be honest, I never thought he'd go to you either, always showed a real dislike for you during the derby matches and even when talking to the press when we are playing other teams.

He has really gone south this last season for us, his 45 minute first half appearance at Wigan was probably the worst I have seen for many a year. Lack of interest, lost a couple of yards of pace and that spark he had.

We have been linked to Daniel Bentley, in fact Cellino is a big admirer of his having personally scouted him.

Ward will do well at Forest IMO. He'll strive now he has a big point to prove.

He was never going to move far from his Matlock base. You only have to take a look at his recent clubs to see he's not one for uprooting.

At 29 a 4 year contract on that money is steady so not surprised at all. Last big one before retiring. Hope he does alright, just nothing too spectacular, good player over the years for us and I won't be boo'ing him when he returns.

Post reckon Matt Mills is signing as well. Would be a good player, especially as Lascelles is going and Hobbs/Wilson are perpetually injured. Him and Mancienne would compliment each other perfectly.

No, think we will probably let someone else have a go this year. We will spend most of the year looking over our shoulder at best I reckon, just no belief in the squad at all.

More fun watching Derby implode from the comfort of 11th place any place.

Show's how bad it must be being a filth fan if its more fun watching Derby's fortunes than expecting their own side to actually do something.

Are Forest likely to keep on to Robert Tesche? Was very impressed with him

He's been shite for a bit now though. He was awful in the game up at the Reebok last year when Dougie got the chop. Looked so low on confidence, maybe some new surroundings will do him good.

Jed Wallace anyone for £275k? That's what it'll cost to trigger his release clause. I know Wolves are interested.

I'm abit disappointed we will lose him for such a small amount but he was out of contract last season and would only resign again with the clause.
Interested. We've been linked with him too :).

He came on loan to us last season, and played only 2 games before going back injured - but from the little we seen of him, he looked fairly tidy.
JJH, you sure?

Takes an extra special talent to juggle the ball into his own net like that. Won't be cheap if/when we do sell him.

Stoke and West Ham linked yesterday, as it happens.

NB: there's a great YouTube vid of El-Abd in full-on WUM mode vs Andy Carroll from that same game.

A Bradford paper has reported that we're interested in Richard O'Donnell - make of that what you will, but if true would be a fantastic signing.

Also - Steven Davies released from B'pool - I'd certainly take another punt on him!

Hmm odd one is Tesche. So we had him for a year and there was a clause in his contract that if he played X games he would trigger another year and this got triggered. I think we wouldn't have done so if we didn't have to as he is on quite big money as well.

I like him and would rather we kept him if we are paying him. Can't imagine you will pay his full wages so the permanent move isn't on and like I said, we are better off keeping him than having you subsidise a bit of his wage.

Good player for me, not really sure why we let him go tbh.
