What is O'Hara like nowadays...

This fucking embargo

Blackpool released him. He's a decent enough Championship player but still would probably ask for stupid wages if a club like Forest came in for him. His fitness is a big concern too.

Ben "Boris Johnson" Pringle refuses to sign new Rotherham contract. Genuinely sorry for Millers fans because he really was an impressive player: gave us a lot of problems. I'd be happy for him to come to Wolves but suspect he'll be looking for a PL club and think he'll find one.
Sign him up SC :D

In all seriousness, he reminds me of Luke Freeman. We should definitely be looking to try sign him.

According to Millers fans on Twitter, you might be happy! They seem to think he's heading for BS3.
What sort of player is he? I know he's the fair haired lad that bossed us when we last played them but he's the right age, on a free and supposedly decent but I don't know enough about him to see where he would fit in. A Pack type player?

Also, who is Swindon's player of the year? I've not heard anything about us being interested, but we have signed their POTY pretty often over the last couple of years. (Pritchard, Douglas, McCormack)
Jordan Turnbull, a CB on loan from Southampton. I imagine his parent club will be looking to loan him out to a Championship club next season so unless we get promoted on Sunday, we have little chance of retaining his services. Would you be in the market for a first choice CB, with Dean and Tawkowski having formed such a good partnership?

Not that fussed about Pringle. Not quick enough for a Championship winger (especially in a 4-3-3) and doesn't score enough goals. Danny Ward is better.

I reckon it's bullshit then as we don't play with wingers! Then again we bought Luke Freeman, supposedly a winger, and turned him into an awesome central attacking midfielder. Maybe Cott's is up to something?

Pringle can play in the middle. Probably in Freeman's position but why you'd replace him I don't know. Good player.

I would hope we aren't replacing Luke, he's bloody superb!
That's why I can't see Pringle fitting in as we don't need another of that type of player. Then again, JET has gone so maybe we do. He would have to be playing very well to shift Luke TBH. What's he like defensively and is he ALL left foot? If we play the same formation as last season, we will need another defensive midfielder.

Can you link the Tweets mate - I searched it but found no results.

And Pringle could possibly occupy the LWB role if Bryan packs his bags and goes, but I can't see anyone taking a punt on Bryan yet, because no-one would meet the valuation we rate him at, as he hasn't proved it in the Championship yet, but if he has a first half to the season next season like he did in the second half of the previous campaign, I wouldn't bet against a PL club offering a fair bit of money for him - but unless Bryan does go, we have Cunningham as well who was one of our best players in the Championship 3 years ago, we don't really need him.

BUT, he'd be an excellent player to have in the squad, and if we do sign him (which I think is unrealistic) it may suggest a change in formation/shape - and personally I don't think Cotterill will change too much.

Looks like Oscar Gobern is leaving on a free, bet we only offered a year deal. Not arsed to be fair.

Linked with Billy Knott at Bratfud.

Main thing is that we keep Jacob Butterfield this Summer and build. Sheff Weds are sniffing...

Yeah massively one footed. Isn't very quick but a hard worker. He's very good with time on the ball (League 1) but isn't really quick enough to be a top Champ player.

Pretty silly of MK to go in for Grigg - can't imagine there will be any outgoing players until a new manager is appointed and evaluates his squad.

You've got me worrying now. That sounds just like Luke last year.
God forbid we lose Luke Freeman, he's our heartbeat and our best player IMHO.

Him and Korey Smith in the midfield are the heartbeat of our team - Smith is that hard tackling, break up player that protects the back four and is willing to carry out defensive duties, allowing Freeman ahead of him to express himself and have something to fall back on.

Coincidentally - both signed in the Summer.

When I used to play for a team when I was younger, my Coach told me that 'Central Midfield wins you the match' and having such quality Central Midfielders won us many this season.

I DON'T want Pringle then.
Luke Freeman is potentially the BEST CAM in the Championship let alone L1. He's THAT good and us City fans can see how good he is.
Feel free to abuse my post then watch just how good this kid is next season.

Just saying but that's a bold statement to make for a player who's never played at this level. We've just lost a CAM who made Yaya Toure look like an amateur in the African Nations and who managed a goal or assist at nearly every game he played at this level. There's many other attacking midfielders in this division that would have no problem in playing Premier League football too. For the record I think Luke Freeman is very good, but there's a gulf in quality between the likes of Colchester and Crawley to what he'll be up against in this league.

There's no way on Earth Pringle will move anywhere further south than Derby. Spends his Saturday nights and Sundays in Newcastle with family and girlfriend and won't move too far away from there, expect him to go to a Lancashire based side or even Sheff United, maybe.
Sheff United are a more obvious option as he bought a house in Bramley not too long ago.

We're interested in a striker who 'plays' in the Premiership, was regularly in the England under 21's up until last year, played for Great Britain in the Olympics and didn't score a goal the whole of last season...

In fairness i don't think Agard is championship quality, didn't perform consistently throughout the season IMO.

He'll be off at some point, left us cos he didn't thin he was good enough for the Championship. You're better off without him anyway.

He should do well, always thought highly of him in League 1. To be fair he used to play out on the wing and looked pretty selfish, might well work a lot better in the centre of midfield (as you suggest he does!).

But there are easily 10-15 better CAMs in this division.

It's impossible to say - he may go into the Championship and tear it to shreds, or the unlikely will happen and he'll go in and be out of his depth.

I think he'll turn out to be a top player in that division, but the best?

Not sure about that.
