He's been fucking fantastic for us, as long as there are no PL offers and he's not wanted at Bournemouth I'm sure he'll end up here.

We got the player of the year from that division last year - looked ok at the start in friendlies but really struggled once we got into the main part of the season. Got injured lots to be fair to the lad. I quite liked him so you might have a good buy there

Jake Cooper has potential, but honestly after seeing him the past few months he's not even an average Championship defender yet, let alone ready for the Prem. Only just turned 21 and I think he'll be a late bloomer, so could make it at a high level, but it seems really early in his career to move up. If he's first choice for us next season then we're in trouble.

Other three you were linked with are possible, but only Norwood could improve your side, others would just be a waste.

You can have him for a decent amount of money. Don't think he will become good enough to play for a Premier League side. Was linked with Stoke earlier in the season. Don't think Norwood is better than you already have either.

I'd rather him stay than Korey Smith personally, who has arguably been our best player this season. There's not a chance we'd accept less than £1m, we'd rather just run his contract down and let him go for free in the hope that he can produce next season, but if Wednesday or Villa put up a reasonable amount it'd be hard to not let him go.

Hopefully he signs a new deal in the summer and puts all of this talk to bed anyway.
