He did fine for Boro last season.Tomlin strikes me as a player who does well until he has a nice, cushy contract sorted out.
Let's hope so, he appears to be loving it in BS3!He did fine for Boro last season.
He's been fucking fantastic for us, as long as there are no PL offers and he's not wanted at Bournemouth I'm sure he'll end up here.
Trying to sign Brownhill on a free in the summer. Sigh.
Think he'd do well for you with your style of play.Trying to sign Brownhill on a free in the summer. Sigh.
We got the player of the year from that division last year - looked ok at the start in friendlies but really struggled once we got into the main part of the season. Got injured lots to be fair to the lad. I quite liked him so you might have a good buy thereMichael Hefele signed from Dynamo Dresden. 6"4 CB from the 3rd division champions. Other than that we know fuck all and are putting our faith in Wagner!
Confirmed.Joe Bennett out for a bit, may need to recall Jeremy Helán from Wolves
Jake Cooper has potential, but honestly after seeing him the past few months he's not even an average Championship defender yet, let alone ready for the Prem. Only just turned 21 and I think he'll be a late bloomer, so could make it at a high level, but it seems really early in his career to move up. If he's first choice for us next season then we're in trouble.Reading's local paper links us with a summer Berkshire raid for a few of theirs, but Jake Cooper is the one we hear interest about in press this end.

He tweeted what lots of people interpreted as a goodbye tweet earlier, hopefully he stays and signs permanently.Time for Ashton/LJ/Lansdown whoever to get on the phone to Bournemouth and try and get Tomlin here on a permanent deal.
I've just read the article about Warnocks' Mrs and her fight against illness. He has gone up in my estimation after reading that and I could understand if he decided not to carry on TBH.Tony Stewart reckons it's a case of 'dotting the I's and crossing the T's' in tying up a deal for Warnock for another season.
Warnock also only want 4/5 additions to the squad.
I'd be worried if it wasn't anybody else saying it but we've lost 2 in a 3rd of a season under him.
Rotherham to do a Leicester next season.

I'd rather him stay than Korey Smith personally, who has arguably been our best player this season. There's not a chance we'd accept less than £1m, we'd rather just run his contract down and let him go for free in the hope that he can produce next season, but if Wednesday or Villa put up a reasonable amount it'd be hard to not let him go.Last year of his contract too, teams wouldn't want to go near £1m for him even if there is competition for him. Think I'd rather see us try and hold onto him, our form under Johnson would likely put us just outside the play offs, no reason we can't look to do well if we keep our key players.
