Johnson hopeful of announcing another signing by the end of the week.... I wonder if it'll be Mawson? The BP reported today that Leeds are matching our interest, though.

Possibly Kemar Roofe then.

I wonder if Stubbs has been offered the same 100 players that Ashton has lol.

Stubbs better check his DNA and people looking over the fence asking what is going on :pmsl::ffs:

Though then again Dack, Tomlin, Fletcher & some other player were also being looked at by Leeds

We've signed George Moncur. Very happy with that.

Crikey, would be underwhelming that with the money you have nowadays. Better out there for you.

Will be interesting to see how much we spend as we need quite a few in. Antonsson pretty much confirmed for a fee up to £2m with add ons. Obviously an unknown but we shall see.

Rumoured to have been put off by the 3m price tag on Roofe.

I thought Nelson Oliveira did pretty well for Forest last season? Would definitely take him as a striking option in a good side.

9 in 29 for Forest last season, not outstanding but Forest weren't proficient in front of goal so could be decent. If it's a loan to supplement the squad then I'd take it.

Barnsley have offered a contract to our skipper Curtis Nelson. Seems as though he'll join our ex skipper Hourihane there who sounds like he's doing great. With the best will in the world, we know it's bad when we've become a feeder club for clubs like Barnsley to nab our best players cheap.

Can't blame Curtis though, he gets to play at a standard he deserves and for more money, good luck to him. Made almost 300 appearances for us and he's 23. Poor from our hierarchy and their refusal to offer anything longer than 1 year contracts. Bellends.

Also seen rumours that you're interested in David Button too!

Well we are after a keeper for sure.

He's a good 'un. Brilliant shot stopper, best distribution in the division and a decent guy. Not great in the air though. If rumours are true in that we're likely to sign Bentley, I would have preferred the two of them to duke it out, but happy to let Button leave if he frees up a bit more wage for us to upgrade.

Today's DailyMail......Burnley have made an INITIAL inquiry for Sheffield Wednesday defender Tom Lees after rejecting a £15 million Leicester bid for Michael Keane, who is thought to be keen for the chance of Champions League football.

The article states Burnley are interested in Lees, who they think can step up to the challenge of Premier League football.....even if they hang on to Keane.

So the story in the Sheffield Star is wrong? Says Burnley have "made an inquiry" about Lees.:)
Yes, Dom Howson has written it. He's about as ITK as you are with Derby finances.

Like Walkley says it's incorrect, and if Keane is worth £15M then so if Lees.

£15m for Lees - it's getting more and more daft by the day.

That's kind of the point I'm making, if Burnley turn down silly money for Keane then there's no reason we would accept anything other than silly money for Lees. Who is undoubtedly one of the best centre halves outside the Premier League.

He is, but it's also worth noting that Keane's only 23, and in his first full season of football he's been fantastic for Burnley.

Keane's not worth £15m, neither is Lees, and Flint definitely isn't. I'd be happy with £5m for Flint (which is what Sunderland were rumoured to be offering as well as Matthews), for a very good Championship centre half that's a very fair price.

Lees is only 25 if age is an issue.

Sounds as though Barnsley have had an offer rejected for Callum Harriott.

15m ... Are you just making up figures now? Both BBC and Sky have said it was 10m... and even 10m is a ridiculous fee for Michael Keane.
