AFCB_Mark is there any chance of Ryan Fraser going out on loan again? I guess Ritchie leaving moves him up the pecking order.

It's a good question. I think he'll have pre season here so we can judge him and his recovery from what I gather was a nasty injury, and I guess we'll see. I'd like to see him given a crack at the PL.

Sawyers, Egan and Bentley all having medicals at the moment, should all be announced today.

Egan deal is reportedly trying to be hijacked by Leeds but is still expected to go through

Wow! Is he worth £7m or is his potential worth £7m? Good price either way - who's looking at buying him?

Palace were rumoured, very good player, little bit of a dip last year but athletic, quick, plays with his head up and continually improving.

I think he deserves a chance in your team if he's fully recovered, he was far too good for the Championship last season.

Steven Fletcher signed for Wednesday ahead of Norwich. What a signing.

According to a Norwich pal of mine, he wanted 40K there - and he turned them down.

Reckon he will be in this division. Dread to think what wage he's on though!

Be about 30k, add McCormack, a winger and a centre half I'll be happy

Wanted a longer contract than on offer

Still a need for McCormack at that daft price, really?

You've got Hooper, Fletcher and Forestieri that can all play up top - three superb options, I can't see two of them three or McCormack being happy sat on the bench in this league every week!

Define Daft price, he has a 12m release clause that expires today and then more realistic offers should go in as Fulham aren't in the mix financially.

Sad to see Ritchie leave but we got a very, very good price on a player we signed for about £400k, and he's gone and over doubled his wages.

He'll piss it in that Newcastle team next year. Someone like Mitrovic will be getting consistent service from outwide, but no doubts Ritchie will hit double figures for goals too.

5m that says gets twenty goals, perhaps promotion = bargain. That said I can't see us splashing that sort of money.

Don't understand why Fulham aren't in the mix financially, they've got a mega rich owner. Has he pulled his funding? Either way if the RMC deal gets done would Sheff Wed consider selling Lucas Joao? Couldnt see him getting gametime behind RMC, Fletcher and Hooper. Would take him at Latics all day long.

Forrestieri is far more effective from wide anyway so I'd assume if we signed McCormack only one of the four would miss out

Highly doubt it we paid close to £3million for the future, doubt we'd give in on him so easily he's got the raw ability just needs time to learn how to apply it

Their mega rich owner isn't putting the coin in. And no, Joao isn't for sale.

Yeah, but it's a massive gamble to spend that on a bloke who won't have any resale value in a few years. Anyway, as Nuttall just mentioned have Joao as well as another striking option which I'd forgotten about, you look bloody good in the striking department!

Anders Lindegaard is officially a free agent.

Supposedly agreed a deal here ages ago but was waiting for his WBA contract to be settled, expect to see him announced soon.

In fairness mate, he's had a few shockers with us lately as well. He said Fletcher chose not to come to here or Leeds because he was going to sign a new deal with United, and the next day it was reported he was at Upton Park discussing terms. There have been others as well - he was on the money for us in January, anything but this summer.
