The Wednesday
In fairness mate, he's had a few shockers with us lately as well. He said Fletcher chose not to come to here or Leeds because he was going to sign a new deal with United, and the next day it was reported he was at Upton Park discussing terms. There have been others as well - he was on the money for us in January, anything but this summer.
If Fletcher goes to Upton Park he will be a lonely sod.....

Good point. Still hasn't sunk in that they've left that fantastic ground for a shit Olympic stadium.

One out of the blue today, we've signed Kyle Knoyle on a season long loan from West Ham. I've never heard of him or seen him play but I assume that's the right back/wing back position sorted with him and Daniels. Perhaps we asked for Reece Burke and got sent this lad instead.

That's obscene for a player of his age, no matter how good he is!
We're still none the wiser on working out who this is...

So while Sheff Wed sign Fletcher and are after McCormack, we go and sign Frédéric Gounongbe, some no mark striker from Westerlo. And still our fans will demand a top 6 spot this season! :err:

Mo Farah. At last. We've been lacking someone that runs in behind for years.

Wow! Is he worth £7m or is his potential worth £7m? Good price either way - who's looking at buying him?

I think he is worth it in the current market. He recently won the England U21's tournament in France and has been training with the full England squad (before the Euros).

Apparently Southampton, Palace and West Ham want him, but his preferred destination is West Ham. Think Southend will receive 15% of whatever we sell him for though.

Don't understand why Fulham aren't in the mix financially, they've got a mega rich owner. Has he pulled his funding? Either way if the RMC deal gets done would Sheff Wed consider selling Lucas Joao? Couldnt see him getting gametime behind RMC, Fletcher and Hooper. Would take him at Latics all day long.
And they have parachute payments!

Beat me to it, though not convinced he's top notch mind

One of the best footballers I have seen at Wolves when you actually looked at his runs, technique and finishing ability, question is what has he got left? seems to have been really effected by his injuries, some Wolves fans will give him shit when you play us for his whole refusal to play and headsgone situation, however I won't be joining them, part of it is my dual nationality but if I see him around Sheffield I will be asking for a photo and happily shaking his hand.

Bidwell gone to QPR, bit gutted about that, a quality player and a shame to lose him. Heard our top target to replace him is Rico Henry, would be delighted if true. Already got 2 of the L1 team of the year, might as well add another.

Really thrilled with the signing of Steven Fletcher, should be absolute quality at this level and a definite upgrade on Nuhiu, who I really can't see getting anywhere near the team next season with Hooper, Forrestieri, Joao and now Fletcher ahead of him, maybe he'll be moved on. Think our strike department is pretty much sorted now, and the fact we got him on a free offsets his pretty high wages, good business. A 4 year contract is a bit longer than I expected but it's definitely a player you can't turn down at this level.

Lindegaard signed permanently. Only a one year deal which I'm happy about, didn't really rate him in his loan spell last year.

Also, Sam Johnstone is out of contract next year so expect us to go in for him.

Ben Pringle should be announced today too. Especially since they've extended the an ticket deadline for a couple of signings

Bartley signed on loan. Best news is Bellusci going to Empoli on a season-long loan. Yay!

Looks like Calaveiro would be a quality signing, young and 2 caps for Portugal, we're definitely in need of a winger but I guess he wouldn't be cheap.

Cavaleiro would be pretty expensive, cost Monaco over £10million, would be a real coup if you pulled it off.

It's going to be the most ridiculous for transfer fees and wages definitely.

Reckon we're back in for Baker. Been linked in the local rag in the last few days, and a fella on our forum who has got stuff right in the past has subtly hinted at it.

We'll see.
