Loved Pringle myself, if he had any pace he would be in the top league no trouble.

I'd go with Newell, his form in November and December was excellent before he picked up that problem in January.

We haven't had a fully fit Newell since then due to him having his operation in May, he'll be a big player next year.

Mind you, was out with him Saturday in Sheffield so his pre season hasn't started yet.

If I rate a player regardless of his club past or present I'd say it fella, just think he's not that good technically and why his career has been at lower end or smaller clubs.

He looked very good in that friendly England had against Australia a few weeks ago, he was best player on field imo. I reckon you've pulled off a really good signing there probably be one of the top midfielders in the division.

Supposedly been very impressive over in Australia last season, though the standout kid from when I caught some games was a Uruguayan lad, Fornioli(sp?).

Think he needs this step up in quality.
