Anyone recognise who that is in the top centre of the picture? Rumours of Sone Aluko but I don't think it's him.

Looks like Marc-Antoine Fortune. I hope for your sake it's not!

Norwich have also now had a bid accepted for Canos. £2.5m seems to be the price then. Apparently our DoFs are considering matching the bid, but it would wipe out most of the remainder of our budget, when we still need to get a left back and DM in, so we would likely need to sell players first.

Doubt we'd be able to meet the wage demands either, so it would be down to a personal choice by the player. Know he loved his spell here last season, but don't think that would be enough.

Apparently he only wants £10k, so you should be alright on that front.

I can't see us paying over the odds wage wise for a 19 year old to get him to come here, there are plenty of other right wingers we could get that are just as effective.

Good luck to him if he goes to Norwich, I won't hold it against him.

Our highest earner is on £12-14k I believe, vast majority on under £10k, so it's probably out of our reach at the moment. Wages are the reason Bidwell, Diagouraga, Tarky, etc all left, can't afford to match 75% of the sides in this division.

Makes it even more baffling that we weren't in for Egan then.

Clubs like Wigan and Rotherham supposedly in for Matt Taylor, and Darrell Clarke has said today he doesn't expect him to stay there.

What a guy, though he'll probably be naff in this division and I'm sure he'll get a nasty reception at Ashton Gate should he decide to join a club at this level.

Millwall have turned our Gregory bid down, want £2m, so we've moved onto Cummings, going back in again for Bradshaw (think we're waiting to seem them accept a bid and then match it) and Matty Taylor.

We'll not sign all 3 but hopefully 2 of em.

No new in/out player rumours but we've made an approach to Leicester for Idiakez.

Wolves interested too.

James Pearce of the Liverpool Echo says today that we've enquired about Cameron Brannigan and been turned down flat for a buy or loan. Klopp sees him as a part of his first team squad, we were apparently willing to pay in excess of 1m to buy him. Good to know that money is there for us to spend on the right player. Until now we've only signed and been linked with free transfers.

We apparently quoted Rangers 900k yesterday. I'd have hoped we'd hold out for more (especially considering Shrewsbury have a sell-on) but it'd be the same we got for Jamie Paterson which is fair enough I suppose. I'd imagine we will also ask for lots of add-ons and a big sell on too.

We bid in excess of £1m for Gregory so the money would be there for him easily, just whether we think he's worth it.

I'd be interested to hear your two-penneth, Ben Pringle, good signing for PNE or not?

Reyt signing, I love Ben Pringle.

Not the quickest but will run himself into the ground. He's as good defensively as he is going forward. One of the best crossers of the ball in the league, quality set peice taker and technically brilliant.

If you want a hard working winger who'll give you 10+ assists a season, there's nobody better.

Total agreement from me, good player is Pringle (from the limited times I've seen him). Good signing by PNE.

Confirmed today that Coloccini's contract has been terminated b fore his move to San Lorenzo. Had been said we were keeping ahold of him until replacements had been found so hopefully means we have something in the pipeline with both Caulker and Dunk mentioned.

I like that. He sounds like Grayson's wet dream, if only he was 6ft 2.

Loved Pringle myself, if he had any pace he would be in the top league no trouble.

Question is Pringle or Newell?
Have we got the better player?
Who would you go with?

Based on my limit viewings of him I think he's nowhere near top flight level regardless of pace.
