Reasonable amount of chatter saying we've bid £1.5m for Rico Henry to replace Bidwell. There would probably be a sell on fee as well included in that. Hope it's true would be a good attacking full back, fits our usual young with potential signing, and should fit in well into Smuth's systems given he'll have played them before.

He won't be as good as Bidwell initially, but from what I've heard he's got the same if not more potential.

We can outbid them and offer more money if it came to it, not bothered by Barnsley.

Yeah Commons is still being talked about but think it hinges on what happens with Gregory and Bradshaw, don't think our budget would allow for all 3 with us having to sign a few others in other positions too.

Watched him a few times last season when Hibs were on the box purely because we were being linked with him. Not sure he'll be up to much at this level, missed a fair few sitters; but then Stubbs will know him better than anyone.

Don't think Cummings is Championship quality, Scottish Championship is probably about League Two standard and that's being kind. It's a big jump and he certainly needs to work on certain areas of his game, he did look decent the times I saw him on TV, he has time on his side I suppose.

Sold Rowan Liburd to Stevenage. One of those non-league punts that didn't work. Still probably made a profit on what we paid for him from Billericay last Summer.

Mowatt's an interesting one. No doubting his talent and has one of the best left pegs in the FL. Physically struggles though and lacks the yard of pace to turn him into a real talent. Obviously I'd like to keep him but his contract is up next year (shock horror) and £5m is a decent amount (if true) for someone who was a bit on the fringes last year. We'd probably regret it, mind.
