We won't pay the money for Bridcutt so I don't see why we would for Huws tbh but we'll see.

McCormack is a good signing for Norwich. I don't think £12m is that bad of a price, either. If it was a gamble then it would be, but McCormack isn't a gamble - he's about as much of a sure thing as you get at this level and the prize for going up certainly covers the £12m outlay.

We are about to finalise our dealings with the signing of Patjim Kasami from Olympiakos and an unknown striker. Think we would be nicely set there with lots of competition. Kasami would be brilliant at this level and we are using our Olympiakos links to get him for a small fee. Been linked with a few Prem teams so hoping it doesn't go belly up last minute.

Reckon 3-4 are up for grabs too. Mancienne, Blackstock, Vekdwijk and maybe Paterson all free to good homes.

Hernandez is a six month loan initially. Not sure why his club have loaned him out the last two seasons but if he shows anything like his former class then it'll help us.

More transfer news for us. Midfielder Joao Teixeira of Benfica (not the same guy as the one from Liverpool /Brentford / Brighton) is set to sign on loan in the next couple of days.

I'll be honest and say I have never heard of nearly any of these players we are linked with.
