I remember when Semedo signed for us, in his interview he mentioned being really close mates with Ronaldo who told him moving to England would be good for him.

Yeah they were both at Sporting Lisbon as kids, good to see that despite their contrasting careers they remain close friends,

Even doing the YMCA together....

Glad we're missing out on him if true!

Oh I thought he played at Reading, must be thinking of someone else.

BBC now reporting that we've had a bid of over £3.5m for Tom Ince reluctantly accepted. Hull must be kicking themselves for adding that buy-out clause in to the loan.

Crazy, us spending this kind of money!!!

Would curious to see who you let go, I wouldn't mind a few of your players (Johnnie Russell) who probably wont get in your team anymore.

They've changed the article now, to say we will have to break our record...rather than it's been accepted.

I love Johnny Russell, but I can't see where he'll feature if we get Weimann in too. Shame if he does go.

Callum Harriot linked from Charlton with us.

I would be amazed if a side eyeing up promotion wanted to sign Callum Harriot to be honest mate, this has to be an agent stunt.

The bloke is absolute pish and offers absolutely nothing, he fell over his own feet towards the end of last season and injured himself, didn't play again.

Apparently SSN are reporting that Newcastle have expressed an interest in Ince now. Go away McClaren! :(

Your team could become scarily good... especially as you'll have Thorne back as well for next year.

Scott Laird is the third PNE player to move to Scunthorpe this summer.

It must be the exotic climate.

The question is can we keep Thorne fit or not though, if he's fit he is one of the best players in the division to be fair, but so far it's been very limited.

Strange one that, does he not feel he's up to Championship football? Doubt Scunthorpe will be offering more money?

They've offered him a three year and Grayson has said he wants two new full-backs this season, confirming him and Woods would be back-up.

Probably a no-brainer for him really.

Ah fair enough. I thought he was quite highly rated by your lot, especially judging by the reaction on twitter

Yeah, I like him, certainly one of the better left backs in L1 but his lack of pace puts question marks on him at this level.

He comes across as a top bloke which is why people are sad to see him go but from a footballing perspective, he's replaceable.

Out of the 8 players who have left, I think all of them might have struggled in the Championship but obviously their efforts are appreciated, wish them all well.

Wolves bid rejected for Joe Mason, £1.5m

Really hope we don't go in for him again, he is worth nowhere near 1.5 million. Will be really pissed of if this is the striker Kenny Jackett wants to sign, there are so many better and cheaper options available.

Yeah makes sense, thought that was probably the case. We have a few like that, fringe players unlikely to make the step up, but as of yet we've kept hold of them all due to us having such a small squad. I expect if and when they do get sold they'll get wished well though, apart from El-Abd. On the whole our fanbase hates him. Poor bloke

I thought the same, a few of our fans have mentioned him but I'm not sure I'd be too keen on having him here to be honest, and certainly not at that price!

Oh, I thought he was highly rated at your place? It's a shame I was getting my hopes up about this rumour.

He was a player that the club and fans were excited about when he was coming through the academy. Flattered to deceive is a real understatement, he simply isn't up to it at this level, or even League One to be honest. I would be astonished if he ends up at another Championship club.

Yet, he remains popular at Cardiff, despite being loaned out.

And I see that George Swan has moved on to York after just 9 months at Wolves. Wonder what went wrong there?

John Eustace has been released. Massive shame as he always did his best and seemed to love the club, did well too when he played but he's 35 now or so and was pretty injury prone last season - Right decision to let him go.
