Probably not when he will be picking up about £15k a week to play in QPR's reserves.
He's a Londoner SF and wanted to get back to his family. There are kids around so it's nothing against PNE, he just wanted to be close to home. No doubt he's on silly money so that helps, more than either of our respective clubs can afford!
How QPR get away with it really irks me. 18K stadium yet they can pay daft money. WTF??

Joe Mattock to Rotherham, decent signing for them.

A fairly reliable ITK'er has said that Tom Ince will sign next week. Joey Barton may also be on his way.

Looks like we're interested in Adam Lowton from Villa, assuming Trippier leaves.

Don't know a great deal about him but he spent a decent amount of time in Villa's first team so hopefully he'll do a decent job at this level.

We've been linked with Matt Smith, apparently we are discussing the fee, but i don't think he'll be cheap, he had a good run of form when he went back to Fulham. We have also apparently enquired for Tom Bradshaw, and been scouting Paul McShane.

Matthew Lowton? would be a good replacement.

Is he signing as well?

Lowton seems like a good replacement, he's known for his good deliveries much like Trippier.

Ross Wallace to PNE rumours doing the rounds, i'd be well happy with that, one of the best crossers of the ball i've seen in a North End shirt.

Signed for Wednesday SF

Good signing, I liked him a lot when he was here but he was forced out when we were cutting costs.

Expect class crosses, a few quality freekicks and annoying yellow cards for giving the referee abuse.

Unfortunately, Burnley will have to sell their best player Kieran Trippier for a pittance of £3.5 million because of a release clause in his contract and Man City will get 40% of any fee after they sold him to us for £500,000 in 2011.

Spurs, Liverpool, Stoke and Villa are all desperate to sign him so it is up to the player to get the best deal he can (wages and playing time) - ideally he will go to Villa because Sherwood wants to use Matt Lowton in a possible exchange deal - that way Burnley would get a decent replacement and not have to give Man City as much dough.

Also looks we will get somewhere around £7/8 million for Ings if it goes to a tribunal. Liverpool originally offered £4 million but this went up to £6million after Spurs had a £12 million bid accepted by Burnley. Liverpool not happy with Spurs as the Scousers were hoping to get Ings on the cheap.

I don't mind whether it's £7m or £8m as long as Mr Dyche gets it all added to his transfer budget.

£1m + add-ons please Mr Bristol City chairman.

Wouldn't be overly excited if we did. Not the greatest injury record and an even worse scoring record. One decent season doesn't change that.

Was quite hoping we might go after Ross Wallace but then thought he hasn't really done anything of note for a good few seasons, and must be well into his thirties. Surprised to find out he's only just turned 30 (how?!). Could still have a couple of productive years at this level in him yet.

There is no way you'll get all the cash from any sale. You hardly signed any players in the premiership. I imagine you'll run a tight ship again.

You've got competition. Villa want Hendrick off us, and we want Lowton and Weimann. Seems Villa might be quite happy with giving us them two and cash for Hendrick.

All been delayed while their takeover happens though.

Being linked with some 6ft4 German centre half, Patrick Bauer.

Know nothing about him but we desperately need CB's so will take that.

We arnt being linked with anyone. Since SC has come in it seems to go very quiet untill the signing is officially announced.
