JET, Albert and Scotty Murray. Three players whose departures have genuinely upset me in my time of supporting City.
Can't say it was very distressing when we let go of Scott Murray.

I'm probably in a minority but always thought there was too much headless chicken about him too!!Can't say it was very distressing when we let go of Scott Murray.
Moot point really...he wouldnt wanna go there!
He's a Londoner SF and wanted to get back to his family. There are kids around so it's nothing against PNE, he just wanted to be close to home. No doubt he's on silly money so that helps, more than either of our respective clubs can afford!Probably not when he will be picking up about £15k a week to play in QPR's reserves.
Looks like we're interested in Adam Lowton from Villa, assuming Trippier leaves.
Don't know a great deal about him but he spent a decent amount of time in Villa's first team so hopefully he'll do a decent job at this level.

Where'd you hear this? We've been linked with Matt Smith, apparently we are discussing the fee, but i don't think he'll be cheap, he had a good run of form when he went back to Fulham. We have also apparently enquired for Tom Bradshaw, and been scouting Paul McShane.
Matthew Lowton? would be a good replacement.
Is he Matts brother?
Signed for Wednesday SF

Unfortunately, Burnley will have to sell their best player Kieran Trippier for a pittance of £3.5 million because of a release clause in his contract and Man City will get 40% of any fee after they sold him to us for £500,000 in 2011.
Spurs, Liverpool, Stoke and Villa are all desperate to sign him so it is up to the player to get the best deal he can (wages and playing time) - ideally he will go to Villa because Sherwood wants to use Matt Lowton in a possible exchange deal - that way Burnley would get a decent replacement and not have to give Man City as much dough.
Also looks we will get somewhere around £7/8 million for Ings if it goes to a tribunal. Liverpool originally offered £4 million but this went up to £6million after Spurs had a £12 million bid accepted by Burnley. Liverpool not happy with Spurs as the Scousers were hoping to get Ings on the cheap.
I don't mind whether it's £7m or £8m as long as Mr Dyche gets it all added to his transfer budget.
