Never happened. Three bids and none were accepted.

Please stop lying and maybe just admit players don't want to join Rotherham.

Don't know where you getting that information from but we had a bid accepted the night before deadline day and we had talks the following day and was asking for way too much in wages so we ended it straight away.

Bid was never accepted. Russell Slade said valuation was never met.

Where are you getting the information from?

Talks? Trained with Coventry until 2pm then was at our Academy at around 6pm. The Rotherham manager also said after the Forest he thought he'd had confirmation the deal went through but we pulled the plug last minute. So you're now saying managers of both teams are conspiring against you because neither of the accounts fit your story?

I am getting my information from local newspapers and the two managers involved. Yours just seems a down the pub rumour or a made up fantasy. Triple his wages? He's on at least 4K here so you're saying he was asking for 12k? Ahahahahahhahaha fuck me

Or you're chatting bullshit.

Russell Slade saying valuation was never met but according to our manager the valuation was met before we played the Forest game and was surprised to find that Coventry had changed their minds after the game at the last moment so neither clubs stories match so i don't believe a word they say.

Our manager went on to say they had been initial haggling over personal terms (so he did talk to us apparently) but wages weren't a stumbling block in the end.

I don't believe a word our club say anymore ive heard rumours from a few people that we couldn't agree personal terms altogether so we pulled out the deal but our club are to shamed to admit it.

Copied from the Sheffield Star reporter :-

Rotherham United missed out on their big defensive target of the January transfer window because the selling club pulled the plug on the deal at the last minute, manager Paul Warne has revealed. The Millers believed young Coventry City centre-half Jordan Wilson would become their new record signing after they agreed to meet the League One outfit’s asking price. Warne expected to receive confirmation the move had gone through when he returned to the dressing room after Tuesday’s deadline-day defeat at Nottingham Forest only to find the Sky Blues had changed their mind. “They didn’t want to sell him, in the same way I didn’t sell to Wardy (striker Danny Ward),” the interim boss said. “That’s their best player. He is their captain, their shining light, so you can understand why they don’t want to sell him. “We went to a really good price, their valuation, and at the end of the day it’s their say. Unfortunately for us, they stopped it.” There had been initial haggling over personal teams, but wages weren’t the stumbling block in the end, Warne said.

He is Coventry's player so they can decide when to sell, seems fair to me.
At least we were trying to sign a young player with a projected bright future, hope the lad has a good career.

And is that a good thing then all that means is your chairman makes money while you still pay £37 to watch championship football. Always find it funny when football fans think it's to there personal gain when they're club makes millions of profit on a player.
It is a good thing if your owner reinvests it into the playing squad, or if you're a lower league club tight on money and it sorts them out for a while.

Contrary to the post I put saying Bogle cost 1-1.5m, BBC Radio Humberside are now saying that the Bogle deal was 750k up front plus adds ons taking it to 1m overall plus a sell on.
Humberside got it wrong I think they just copied what Sky Sports wrongly said, the same Sky Sports that earlier on deadline day said that Grimsby Town have signed Omar Bogle for 1M!
Bignot's confirmed it was a 7 figure sum up front + add ons.
The 750k quoted was just Wigan's first bid which got negotiations started.

Ah fair enough. I read something online about the fee potentially rising to 3m! The only way that can true is if we put a Premier League promotion bonus in there somewhere.

Was satisfying watching him tonight playing like a 7m player while Wildschut played like he was worth 7 quid. Hopefully he isn't stuck with us in L1 next season..

I hope so too as I'm guessing there will be an avoid relegation add on due to us should he help you stay up. :£ :gr:
And also the guy was fantastic for us so I genuinely wish him all the best in the rest of his career, as well as the money he made us in his transfer fee his goals in the play off semi and final were priceless and the day he gave us at Wembley to finally get us out of that hell hole is a day no Grimsby fan will ever forget, absolute euphoria.
Good luck I hope he smashes it for you.

We've signed Clarence Seedorf's newphew, Sherwin :dk:

Think he's a winger, like we don't have enough of those already.

Chris Samba. Hmm.

If we get the Blackburn Samba, great, if we get the QPR Samba, god help us from what I saw.

Chris Maxwell has signed a new contract, tying him down to 2020.

Good news, proper surprise package this season, really good keeper.

Bit of a strange one but we bought a kid from Barnet (Hakeem Odoffin) in the summer but it looks like we are set to release him because he has links to ISIS, and his father died fighting for ISIS...

Yeah...

He makes Eoin Doyle look like a good signing.

Yeah...
Why? Strange decision. Struggling for goals at the minute aren't you, he'd be explosive up front

Chelsea and Arsenal reportedly are gearing up for a transfer battle for Manchester United’s Jesse Lingard, with Antonio Conte ready to make the initial bid. Blame football media reports !!
Do any of those three teams play in the Championship? Last time I checked, they don't. Mug.

We've entered into discussions with Everton over taking McGeady. Hoping to do a deal like we did with WBA for Lindergaard.

Thauvin recently confirmed his move to Marseille is permanent after triggering a "games played" clause. Been rumoured since November but nobody seemed to know for certain. 5 months at the club, 16 games, 1 goal and a £5mil loss after an 18 month loan back to the club we originally bought him from. Newcastle legend.

Huddersfield sign Kachunga on a permanent basis for 1.1m. Good piece of business for them that is.

Jamie O'Hara, once the catalyst of our double relegation, has just signed for the mighty Billericay Town on an 18 month contract.

Bellend. Claimed in December he wanted a way back into the Football League yet a month later he was part of a publicity stunt involving a fake relationship with Bianca Gascoigne on Big Brother.

Paul Konchesky and some other big (ish) name have signed for the 7th tier club he's signed for recently though.

They're supposedly signing David Dunn and Carlton Cole too
