We're on about somebody that could be playing in the Champs League though, no wonder he's good at this level.

Aye, it's partly why I aint fussed out all the ffp crao people throw at us. Neves, Cav, Costa and Miranda on current evidence all get at least what we paid for them if we need to collaspe the project down and go back to 11 British players.

That seems a bit naive when you take into account wages, contracts, very real threat of value depreciation and the desperation of any situation in which you're forced to flog those players. Having saleable assets certainly didn't save Portsmouth or Leeds from the doldrums.

Are Brentford going to have a squad left? All good and well looking at it positively, self efficient ect, but if they kept their best players and showed just a little more ambition there's no reason why they couldn't challenge the top 6. Lovely team to watch too.

Don't have the luxury of the finances the rest of you guys have, just the way it is. We'll still finish in the top half, and above a lot of the clubs who are mocking us right now.

We're not forced to sell any player. Should we not get promoted this season I think every Wolves fan will expect Neves and Costa to leave, but one thing is for sure, they would make us a hell of a lot of money by doing so. Both are under long contracts and both have adapted to the English league perfectly, add their vast amount of talent to the mix and you've got 2 players that in this market could easily fetch the club £20m each. It's also quite naive of you to compare our owners to Leeds or Portsmouth ones.

FFP accounts are spread over 3 years worth of turnover, not one. If we end up staying down here and selling those two we could be the most profitable team in the league... Wouldn't that be a turnaround.

I'm not mocking you, I'm actually quite envious. Fear you may only be able to keep doing it for so long before it catches up with you though.

Bournemouth reject our 15m bid for Afobe. Hopefully if we get Locadia across the line it wont matter.

We've cancelled Lewis Mcgugan's contract finally getting him off the books, expect he'll end up somewhere on a free before midnight but with him sitting on his arse for the last 18 months it might be harder for him. Apparently we're still in for a winter and a midfielder before the deadline, if we get both then I have to say we've addressed all problems and we should have a squad capable of a top 2 finish.

Good afternoon all....

We've signed Luke Steele from Greece, presumably as a number two. Alright at Barnsley wasn't he Craig?

I love him. Top shot stopper and always confident when he faces a penalty but sometimes questionable command of his area and distribution was always lacking. Great to see him back, even if it is as Bristol City second choice.

Stuart O'Keefe joins Pompey until the end of the season. We best have some fuckers coming in, only have 4 centre mids and 3 of those start every game!

Given up any hope on our chances of signing a Striker today.

Oliveira for £12m, moving to the Prem if anywhere
Hugill would cost £10m, no thanks
Hemed will only move if Brighton sign two strikers, not happening
Wells gone to Burnley

Probably forgetting another couple of strikers we have been interested in recently..

In fairness I didn't know that I find it bizarre why you didn't spend a lot more at the start of last season when you were already there.

Neither do I mate it's very odd isn't it. Or in January.

Reading in for Anya on loan, good move for all concerned if it happens.
He'll be about our seventh choice winger..

Even as a wing back he will rarely get a game.

Strange move if true.

It's only O'Rourke that's mentioned it so you're probably safe. I imagine he would be signed as a wingback or cover. There's no way he is a winger.

Looks like Brum have rejected a bid from us for David Davis. Can't think of anything more Gary Rowett than that. Maybe Clayton Donaldson.
They've just confirmed Jota, top signing for 6 mill.

Club record fee for Birmingham, so must be more than the £6m reported. Gutted to see him go, going to be even more gutting watching him play for another team at Griffin Park.

Maxime Colin also going, thankfully Dalsgaard looks a pretty decent replacement, but not as good as Colin was.

Guess I've got to find a new Avatar!

Who?

Bristol City have agreed a deal to sign Rory Holden from Derry City. Sky Sports News understands the fee could rise to £300,000.

He’s a 20-year-old midfielder, highly-rated in Northern Ireland.

Jordan Graham has gone to Fulham on loan for the season. Gutted about this one, probably got the highest assists to games ratio of any player in the league.

I didn't say it was an inevitability, but that it was a possibility. While it's a possibility it seems dodgy to dismiss those very real consequences, especially given how completely unstable the market is and how mercurial form is, without even going into the various acts of god that could quite easily see you making a heavy loss on those players overall.

I mean, it might not happen -- but it could. It has to at least give Wolves fans reservations even if you are willing to look past everything and just enjoy the ride.
