Met the £750k asking price for Stockley, Seven figures rejected for Barnsley's Brad Potts and £750k rejected for Mansfield's CJ Hamilton.

Stockley Confirmed.

Preston North End have completed their second permanent signing of the transfer window with the transfer of striker Jayden Stockley.

The Lilywhites have paid an undisclosed fee to the Grecians for their top scorer, who has agreed a three-and-a-half-year deal at Deepdale.

In 98 appearances for the St James Park club, 25-year-old Jayden scored 51 goals and was the top scorer in all four English leagues in 2018.

If you need a winger then that’s where he excels. 7 goals and 7 assists for us, albeit in an utter dog shite league. Played him out of that position quite a bit last season due to having Hammill and Harvey Barnes but he’s in his element when he plays there.
