Wonder how much we could have got him for if we put a bid in while we were watching him at Crawley. Think we backed off after he was arrested abroad.

Hard to say, probably somewhere inbetween £500k-1mil.

Whilst he could barely hit a barn door he was still seen as ‘one for the future’ and had 18 months left on his contract. His goals this season certainly whacked another £1m on.

Bit disappointed in him really, several years of watching him toss away chance after chance but sticking with him and then sticking by him after his problems in Ibiza and then his first season where he’s been half decent, he’s doing the off halfway through.

Would you be content replacing him with Eisa? It'd be a cracking move for us/him.

Any goals scored in L1 don't count because its a piece of piss to score from set pieces down there.

Paul Huntington bagged 9 in our promotion season, Beevers & Wheater at Bolton had 16 between them. Flint had about 87.
Spot on. Dunkley and Burn got about 12 goals between them last season. Neither have scored a single goal yet this season. Only one of our defenders has scored, a Reece James free kick.

Notts Forest in for Blackett apparently, some good news!

More than happy. His strike rate in L2 is almost indentical to Grant’s - the only place he scored goals before this season but over a longer period.

We play attacking football and Taylor would likely bring the best out of him as he has done with Grant.

Agree it would be a good move, like I say, we play to attack and always have 2 up front so would be almost guaranteed to start every week for a team full of confidence and challenging for promotion. Good chance for him to play regularly and get amongst the goals.

Don’t know if it’ll happen though, understand there’s a few interested parties, and that it’s reliant on you bringing someone in. We also need a permanent signing really, if/when Grant goes it’ll leave Taylor as our only senior striker.

Hogan having a medical to sign for Sheff Utd on loan. Frees up Clarke, hopefully not for us.

Not sure Wilder will like this, I mean players on 40 grand a week, he'll be chucking up his swill as we type

Strange one from villas point of view, he could score the goals that cost them a playoff spot. We need to be keeping hold of fleck though that's the main thing.

No idea how much we are paying of it though, hardly gonna fuck us up 4 months wages either. We obviously haven't got any funds to buy players

Isn't it, the boardroom battle is still fucking ridiculous, if this fails then the summer will be beyond acrimonious

It's a joke, I hope that Prince fucks off where he came from, were not expected to be doing as well as we are but if there are any funds I'd liked to have thought wilder would have got them , instead we've basically risked about 1 million on 2 players wages, wilders proved he doesn't need lots of money so hopefully we keep up there. As for the owners with the brooks sale they've basically spent nothing on transfers due to there disagreements, we wont get as good a chance of promotion for a while and the only thing will fuck us up is wilder leaving which is a high possibility if the owners don't sort themselves out.

He’s finished at villa mate. I’ve got a feeling he will fit in at your place very well. Good bit of buisiness for you I think.

Thought he might have got a chance again under Smith, obviously Tammy is undropable. It's only a loan for 4 months so not risking hardly anything either way, gives us another option up top too.

He never takes what chances he gets, although some might say he’s not had a fair crack of the whip lately. Too half arsed for me, but the move might do him good.

That's a potential promotion clinching signing for Sheffield Utd. I reckon Wilder will sort him out.

Didn’t want him to leave at the start of season because the way things were looking we were going to be on our arse. It’s just not going to happen at villa.

If he has a bad attitude and fails where does he go next? Youd like to think Surely he will want to prove something. Hopefully he does anyway

He wasn’t ever really given a fair chance at Villa. Bit of a waste them signing him really given he was always going to be 2nd, and then 3rd choice.

Don’t think his attitude’s the problem, just whether he can stay fit. You’ve had a cracking week, readying the £25 unless we manage to join you...

Kieffer Moore is on the bench for us tonight. Bit strange considering he’s scored in his last three games. :pond:
