Comes across that way, miserable as fuck too. Showed he was decent at yours, Udders and here though if someone can get him playing.

Frank reckons he's training well with the kids but why wouldn't he say that when we're trying to flog him. Interesting few days ahead for us to try and get rid of some deadwood. I reckon there will be a few leave late on, Butterfield probably being one of them.

Only reason I mentioned him was because we supposedly enquired in the summer but were put off by the requested wage contribution.

We also tried for Kasey Palmer on loan but he went to Blackburn instead.

Presume this was when Daniel Johnson's contract situation was up in the air.

Bid reportedly submitted for Daniel James £6million more time wasted on this 1 winger ffs at that price i'm sure there's better throughout 2nd tier European leagues

did you see Nixon said we quoted 10m for O’Dowda? the market is fucked, 10m for an average winger with 18 months left on his deal is absolutely ludicrous.

been arguing with swansea fans on twitter about it, they kept saying "youth product"

yet i'm fairly sure he's a Hull academy player originally

Yeah he signed for Swansea at about 17 after being with Hull for almost a decade so they can’t really claim that with a straight face. £10mil with add ons apparently.

apparently him being from East Yorkshire is rumoured for him to be wanting the move but the clubs need to agree on the price which we look to be miles apart on

Sky reporting now that us and Sheffield United want Hogan on loan. Makes .Lee sense on loan, doubt either of us could afford him on a permanent.

Blades funding Hogan by selling Fleck to West Ham, surely not?

7 million which is the fee we got for Ronaldo Vieira to Sampdoria, spent 3 million on douglas and a few more odd 300ks for the youth team, our net spend is very low
One of Bielsa’s mistakes selling Vieira imo, imagine how good he’d be under MB...

Wouldn’t make much sense, unless one or us are signing Clarke.

Good signing that if you can get him across the line. Him and Diedhou would be a better pair of strikers than most teams have in this league.

I'd love Hogan here, problem is tbat with our system at the moment which is working really well we're only playing 1 striker. Would definitely provide adequate cover, and give diedhiou a break. We're a bit fucked if he gets injured as it stands

We're in a similar boat - tough to convince a striker to join without making it about wages, as they know they'll be joining to sit on the bench behind Maupay.

Looks like we've missed out on Karlan Grant to Huddersfield. He's harly going to sit on our bench rather than theirs.

Grant looks a talent to be fair, any idea what the fee is?

Rumours that eisa is going there on loan to replace him, won't happen if we don't get someone in though

We've signed Harry Chapman from Middlesbrough,he did well in his loan move to us last season but got injured,he can be a good player if he could just stay off the treatment table.

Sounds like £1.5m plus add ons, which is a great bit of business for Huddersfield, bit gutted to miss out on him for that kind of price.

Yeh sounds like £1.5-2m plus add ons. Good business for both sides, relatively risk free for Huddersfield and a couple of mil for us for a player that has 5 months left of his contract. Unfortunately, Lee Bowyer won’t see any of it.

You haven’t really missed out on much to be honest. He’s been crap for about 3 years and we’ve persevered with him and he’s now started to finally score a few goals, still wastes far too many chances and can’t score one on ones. Very limited player with pace and not a lot else. Being made to look better than he is by Lyle Taylor. It’s just a shame for us that that partnership will be broken up.

I expect him to be back in L1/L2 in a couple of years.

£3mil bid for Ethan Pinnock rejected from Brentford. Love it, we’d have accepted a used BMX and two Mars bars two years ago.

Pretty solid at this level isn't he?

Big threat from set pieces and score a lot of goals for a defender (would say only Aden Flint is more prolific in that respect). Defensively he gets ripped apart by anyone with a bit of pace and gives a lot of needless fouls away.

He's been a great servant for the club though, and all Wolves fans will thank him especially for captaining us out of League 1.

Reda Johnson was more of a threat goal wise than Batth, he's got 32 goals compared to 17.

Batth can't be unhappy at the move, to a team that are renowned for having no nonsense defenders and doesn't have to move house.

Wonder how much we could have got him for if we put a bid in while we were watching him at Crawley. Think we backed off after he was arrested abroad.

Sorry meant to say current Championship defenders. It's probably a decent move for him like you say, just I feel he thinks he's been hard done by after the last 18 months. If we didn't have the takeover he'd still be our captain playing every week.

Any goals scored in L1 don't count because its a piece of piss to score from set pieces down there.

Paul Huntington bagged 9 in our promotion season, Beevers & Wheater at Bolton had 16 between them. Flint had about 87.
