Odubajo, Harris and Borner all at first session yesterday, Lee, Palmer and Westy too, soft embargo being lifted.

Want three out, Rhodes, Winnall and either Joao or Nuhiu apparently want Hector, a left back, winger and one more, Bruce happy to wait for PL loanees.

We may all joke but when second tier players are touted at the rates we are seeing it does show the game is utterly beyond redemption.

My club are failing FFP but what chance do we have when clubs get nigh on 200m reward for failing, wages and fees inflated.

Meh

Tom Lockyer and Chuks Aneke confirmed, both free transfers obviously.

Chuffed with Lockyer, exactly what we need. Solid, experienced yet young centre half who immediately replaces Bauer.

Aneke bit more of a risk but reading MK fan’s thoughts on him, it could be an exciting signing.

Brilliant work from Bowyer and his team, both players had interest from other Championship sides so to get them to sign here is credit to them.

Roland still sewing his pockets shut pal?

Completely, by far the lowest budget in the division.

He’s even come out and said as much now that he’s not looking to spend any more money whilst he tries to sell the club.

Fair enough in theory, but he’s been ‘trying’ to sell for over two years now.

Financially it's surely better for the club and chances of sale if you're in this league, you need the budget for it, getting by didn't work for Bolton, Rotherham etc

It’s a miracle that he’s ever been a success in business.

We never asked for him to pump millions and millions in but we offered Patrick Bauer £5k a week ffs. Surely, give him £10k and that extra 5 is already covered by the extra revenue from bigger away followings etc.

He offered Aribo a contract last season, withdrew it and offered a lesser one which he quite rightly didn’t sign. The kids now gone for peanuts to Rangers. Didn’t think you had to be a genius to work out that the best thing would be to tie him down for a couple more years before selling him off to the Premier League for about 10mil+.

I’m really not sure how he thinks losing assets makes the club more appealing. It’s all bollocks anyway, there’s been loads of interest, he’s just a wanker to negotiate with as Lee Bowyer found out for himself.

It says the player has been offered terms at his current club though, Bidwell was released.
Ah okay, I’ve been told it’s a full back from QPR but that’s it. Was trying to figure out who it could be.

Webster will leave it looks like, we’ll probably get close to £25m out of it though.

Football’s fucked, as much as it’s great for us to get that price for a player we spent £4m on 12 months ago it’s just ridiculous. He’s not even worth half of that realistically.

That’s insane. Good player but worth at most £12-15m. Well done you guys for holding out for that much. Villa have already spunked a lot of money on not a huge amount.

Yeah we’ve done well, I expect it’ll happen now. It seems you were right about the Bentley fee as well, a bit steep but if he can refind his form then he’ll be worth more than that. If not, we have Maenpaa anyway.

Us and Millwall battling for Kieffer Moore at 3m according to the Mail.

Surely Millwall are not parting with 3 million quid.
I’d hope we aren’t either. There’s rumours circulating that Diedhiou may be off to China for £12m, if that’s the case I’d hope a similar level is reinvested on a quality player, not Kieffer Moore.

Even with your soon to be deep pockets, I’d be surprised if you started spending £10m+ on players.

Though if you did you might finally get Gayle!

Helder Costa is going on a season long loan to Leeds in the next week. Bielsa wants him before their preseason in Aus.

Agree but it wouldn’t come as shock to see Bristol City splash £3m on one player.

I’m not even sure that every signing Millwall have ever made yet totals £3m.

Kalas was 8m so not far off mate.

Not sure who I’d want up top in fairness though. Vydra maybe?
