A fair few more to come in yet Matt. Same for everyone I guess but we've returned to training today so I expect things to start to warm up now.
Tomas Kalas is the big one the fans want, he's superb!
Shame Lee Johnson is the manager, the fucking shitwasp

Odds on him still being our manager on the 21st December when we meet at Hillsborough?

I finish on the 20th for Christmas and have done the last two years as well and they were both away games, always one of my favourite fixture dates of the year.

Some shit Villa Twitter account has linked us to Keinan Davis on loan.

Doubt that account has any credibility but i'd take him, very Hugill like but miles more potential than he had.

Given we have literally no senior keepers, it's an upgrade over 11 outfield players (marginally).

Tried to undercut Ipswich on the price because of a ‘long-standing knee issue’, despite the fact that the bloke has barely missed a game in years. Fucking joke club. It would be falling if it weren’t so hilariously predictable.

Decent keeper is Frankie. He'll do okay for Millwall. Mad as a box of frogs though and can't kick for shit.

On our forum people are getting very excited as it looks like we've just landed Tomas Kalas. I would be ecstatic if that's true, great player.

I know you've got a minted owner but It's incredible what's gone on in The Championship financially.

16 million in 1995 buys you the Premier League's all time top scorer and you get a million change. Now Bristol City laugh you out of the building for bidding 16 million for their centre half.

He’s not even worth half that.

That's your opinion Craig but we don't want to sell him as he's our best player and under contract for a further 3 years. If anyone wants him, they'll have to make an offer that we can't turn down.
Given we've sold players for over £40M in the last 12 months, we can resist these figures.
Madness, yes but we can afford to do it at the moment.
If the bids go over £20M, I would imagine we'll trade but we'll be making sure it's good for BCFC, not necessarily for Villa.
Out of interest, how do you know he's only worth half the current bid as he's a class act? No offence meant by the way, just intrigued.
By the way, the figures being spent / rumoured in the Championship this summer are absolutely bonkers in my opinion, ourselves included.

Yep, that's pretty accurate BB. Hope you're well fella?
Seems a long time ago when we were battling in L1. Good fun that was.

Game has gone

The money has gone crazy Craig.
One of the genuinely ITK posters on our forum is saying we've spent £7M on Kalas. I know he's bloody good but clubs like us don't spend £7M on a player. That's a whole wage bill for some clubs just 1 level down!
Absolute carnage financially in this division.

Fucking hell mate I remember when Alan Shearer went to Newcastle for £15million and we were all like it’s madness. That won’t even get you a bog standard championship centre half these days, apparently.

I know he's decent for you but imagine saying 'fuck off' to £16m for a Championship player...
I know, it’s ridiculous and if I was reading it I’d be puzzled but genuinely, they can fuck off.

I don’t care where the 16m goes, if we keep him and go up we get 10x that, so I stand by it. Fed up of selling our best players every summer.

He’s not even worth half that.
You’re right he isn’t, no Championship player is worth 10m+ but that’s just how fucked football is.

I was told earlier it’s 8m with addons mate, remarkably.

Held talks with a player who has been offered terms at his current club.

Barlaser at Newcastle fits the bill, even though we said he's not a target a while back, things change though and we've had him watched a few times.

Another guess would be Jon Taylor at Rotherham, said he's leaving, Championship experience, still a decent age. Maybe worth a punt.

Tom Eaves isn't from too far away from your neck of the woods so might fancy a return back to the NW? We've offered a new deal but all suggestions are he's holding out for a Championship club, so it's a possibility I suppose

If its Taylor I would imagine he will be a squad player.
Couldn't hold his place down in a relegated team last season.

Don't get me wrong, I wish he'd accepted a new deal because he would be a good league 1 player but he isn't quite Championship material.

Works hard, got a bit of pace and will score the odd stunner but loses concentration and sometimes forgets to track back.

You never know, new surroundings might bring a little more out of him, I wish him luck cos I enjoyed watching him at times.

Can't really see that one as he offers the same qualities as Stockley, I think our striker signing will be someone with a bit of pace and mobility. Who knows though, we might be looking at two strikers with Moult maybe moving on.

Ah maybe not then, just a shot in the dark from me, always thought he was rated at your place. Possibly worth a go on a freebie though.
