Yes, does incredible things with supposedly 'average' strikers.

Terry Connor was the most useless number 2 I've ever seen at Wolves. They zoomed into that surgically attached clipboard to his arm once on MOTD2, all it was, was an illustration of circle with number 4 drawn in the middle saying "DEFEND!"

For what it's worth, we were 5-0 down to someone like Fulham at the time...

Whilst I'm not so blinkered as to not find that completely hilarious (and rightly so), all I know is that for the likes of Murphy,Sears & McGoldrick he's worked wonders - shown by the praise he constantly receives.

Granted something has changed in Murphy whilst he's been with you, but surely DMC and Sears developed into better than average forwards at Coventry and Colchester.

Sears without question. McGoldrick, is a completely different player since joining ourselves. I'm only really saying that whenever our forward players speak publicly they are very quick to point out how effective TC's training sessions are and that's been proven on the pitch.

Confirmed as your lot who made an enquiry about LOANING him... Bless ya.

Sadly, we appear to have missed the spectacle of Walkley defecating into his applause-hungry hands.

It does beg the question why "the knobheads" wanted him on loan and not to sign him up, given the large amounts of tuna cash being sprayed around by their owners....

I'd be astounded if we would splash 5m on a 32 year old one season wonder

Yes, but that's been rehashed already a lot. He's doubling his scoring each season and looked sharp all season long. I think many clubs would risk £5m on a 32yo who has proven scoring ability at your current level. (And 13 the previous season when he wasn't even played up front for half the games).

Surprised you're so against him when he only played four games for you and that was a decade ago. Surprised you even remember him tbh.

He was toss, and we went 7 games without a goal either side of his spell, the closest he came was rounding the keeper v Ipswich and hit the post, shit.

A lot can happen in a decade. Scoring 27 goals in one season and 13 or so the season before is not to be sniffed at. I can appreciate the not wanting to spend £5m on him, but your excreta-applause bit I find puzzling.

I just don't want nor rate him, never have.

Lee Camp to make sensational return to Nottm Forest - because he's about the only half decent keeper they can find going on the cheap. We're potentially willing to let him go either on loan or for a free transfer. Bristol City were said to be interested last month but nothing came of it. He cost us nothing to sign in the first place.

He's been unlucky here, one bad injury and by the time he came back the club had changed it's expectations again. Perfectly decent keeper.

Hiwula wanting more money than we're prepared to pay him, alerting Leeds & Celtic.

I've read that Burnley are also being linked to Hiwula - we've done well with loans from Man City in the past - Kieran Trippier and Ben Mee.

Grant Ward signed on loan from Spurs - not seen him yet but reports from friendlies over the last week are encouraging...
