Lee Camp to make sensational return to Nottm Forest - because he's about the only half decent keeper they can find going on the cheap. We're potentially willing to let him go either on loan or for a free transfer. Bristol City were said to be interested last month but nothing came of it. He cost us nothing to sign in the first place.

He's been unlucky here, one bad injury and by the time he came back the club had changed it's expectations again. Perfectly decent keeper.

Would have thought we might have been interested in him too. He's still a baby in goalkeeper years.

Edited: I have this sense that it doesn't take a lot for anything to be considered 'sensational' in Dorset though. It must be difficult on the hearts of a lot of your elderly fans. I understand that if you get two corners in a row, it's standard practice to call out the air ambulance as a precaution.

How many players have Rotherham signed so far? Seems like they make loads every season!

Camp, for our 2 playoff seasons, was the best in this league and caused Swansea to try and break their transfer record signing him. They had to settle with Michele Vorm, the mugs.

Wouldn't want him back now, too much has gone on and I don't think that he is any better than De Vries.

The article linking him is pish anyway.

Looks as if mcgugan is all but a formality, great to get him back on board, was quality last season

Lewis trying to earn himself a contract again.

The biggest wasted talent I've ever seen. He is sublime when he wants to be and an extremely lazy, selfish and frustrating player the other 50% of the time.

Should have been rocking it in the Prem years ago. As it is he will continue to be one of the biggest ''what ifs'' in my memory.

Wish him well, he will score a few goals but before long you will realise why Forest and Watford both let him go.

Sheff Wed look a decent bet at 22/1 to win the league e/w, especially if they get Rhodes or Bamford.

They won't win the league.

They might be an outside shout for top 6, especially if they get in Bamford or Hooper, but they won't win the league.

Derby, Boro, Wolves, Hull, QPR all have to be good bets for top 2.

We'll not win league, not many do in their first season 'going for it' top 6 is achievable though

And us. We're massive.

I think you will do well again. Same squad (minus Mings who is good but ultimately only a full back) and magic Mick.

Not a good enough squad for the top 2 though, again, but top 6 well within reach

Forest, Wednesday, Leeds.

All destined to never make it to the Prem again.

Took 22s and 6/1 for promotion, first bet I've put on us in this manner ever.

Generous donation.

I dont think they are as bad as you think. Their defence was up there with the best in the league last season with their main issue not scoring enough. With the foreign talent brought in and maybe a decent goalscorer at this level I think they can be in the promotion mix.

My post was tongue in cheek, I mentioned a few pages back that I'm watching them with interest this season.

Wednesday, Boro, Derby, Birmingham City, Hull, Ipswich up there for first 6. Maybe us and Blackburn in the mix, but possibly not. Personally don't think QPR or Burnley will cope as well with the return to Mordor.

I have just got 5/2 at Ladbrokes on someone saying "this is going to be the toughest/closest Championship for quite some time/ever/since the Book of Ezekiel was written" by the end of this week.

We've told Cardiff if they want Russell, they will have to offer £2.5m

Apparently.

Ex Brum and Cardiff man, was highly rated a bit back, formerly Norwich too I think.

I've read some positive things to be fair. Looks like a younger replacement for Austin. Seems Cardiff fans don't understand why they'd loan him out, and would rather he didn't leave permanently (which is apparently an option for us next summer).

Good to see us signing hungry, young players, even if it does mean our average age is very low.

Need 6 players to come in, not one looks imminent.

Looking like a long hard season ahead.

Playing in some tournament for Jamaica. Would do a job for most Champ teams but was probably on a decent wage here.

I always thought that a player in Austin's position needs to be composed, calm and intelligent. I just saw him as a rottweiler chasing a bouncing ball and going through anything and anyone to get there. Lacks finesse, but he must doing something right to be skipper of Jamaica. I didn't quite realise the players he was picked over for that achievement.

It seems like we're pretty much finished, bar Shackell, judging by the lack of rumours and movement. I'm not too concerned as Saturday showed that we've got a shit load of ground work to put in for the season. Although there were a few poor individual performances, it was just a complete rustiness to the new system that threw us off.

Just under a month to go, it's going to be an interesting few weeks.

Seems we must also be nearly done. Few rumours of players leaving, very few of players joining. Mainly wingers and strikers so if we do add to the squad pretty sure it'll be there.

Well that's why he's best when he's allowed a free role really. He has a serious engine on him so chasing people down, making challenges etc. He can be wild but he's a strong runner and can drive forward well. By the sounds of it Adeyemi can do that too which is important as most of our midfielders aren't the sort of players to run 40 yards forward. It sounds simple but it's a very useful trait to have.
