Um city fans to back me up?

Matt Smith (Fulham)
Nathan Ake (Chelsea) - Loan
Sam Ricketts (Wolves)
Michael Bostwick (Peterborough)
James Tavernier (Wigan)

Only two from that would be Smith (probably round 1-1.5 million, bought for 800k last season)
Tarvenier would be decent, only 23 so time to develop, depends how much Wigan may try and get for him now they've gone down as he could be useful for them.

Ake - bigger team
Ricketts - 33, can get someone younger who will have a resale value, Ricketts reminds me of the old times of signing old players. Wilbs and Elliott were signed for impact on the 1st team.
Bostwick - We can get better imo.

Ricketts is out of contract in the summer so can leave on a free, think he'll go to a League 1 side.

Apparently the Hendrick one also has add ons after the 5M, I'd take that in a heartbeat. Could invest that into another midfielder who is cheaper but better, and the rest can go to the defence.

Depends what the crack is.

It looks as if Villa are only interested in giving him a year maybe two on less than half of what he's on now. (80k).

A four year deal on considerably lower wages but first team football might suit him and his career.

Or he could be a greedy bastard and stay at Villa.

Not sure how you'd pass FFP if you could get Ince and Bent if the rumours are true.

We're apparently signing young centre back Josh Yorwerth from Cardiff. Never heard of him.

Local paper reckons we're signing Joe Edwards on a free after his contract at Yeovil expired.

Nah, can't see that.

The rumour has been hanging around for a while, but I'm not sure either. I liked how we brought in signings last summer, nothing got leaked and they sprung out of nowhere. I remember the Freeman and Korey Smith signings being announced without anyone expecting them.

There's a reason we let him go in the first place, he did ok in the championship i think but last season? I'd like to think we'd be aiming for a bit better quality to be honest.

To be fair, Wigan bring players on. A season with Wigan and Andy Delort is...umm...back in the French second division.

I can see most of QPR's squad ending up in the frothy midriffs of Lancashire, returning to a better time <Hovis music> where players stroll down cobbled backstreets, whistling Vera Lynn songs and waving cheerfully at housewives hanging our their laundry. Ah, Wigan: the Athens of the North!

I'd be more than happy to see Ricketts back at Wolves. He may be 33 but he's solid, dependable, doesn't Tweet, can speak coherently (heard him on BBC Wiltshire at the weekend) and has a proper haircut. Hard as nails. He's still got four years playing left in him, at least two of those at Championship level.

Bolton fans are fucking clueless. According to them Beckford is a load of tosh, whilst Craig Davies is the best thing since sliced bread.
Says a lot about their football knowledge.
Tbh hall has admitted he wasn't very good up there, but being here with his family has helped him out massively, and I've been very, very impressed with him recently

Beckford has only ever scored goals in L1. Ever thought they might have a point?

Scored for Leeds in the Championship, as well as Huddersfield. Not his fault Bolton are shit, and their fans are utterly clueless.

He's also a far better player than the lazy fucker that is Craig Davies.

His best goalscoring season at this level is 9 goals. He really isn't that good.

No he didn't. Bar an eight goal return at Huddersfield he has done absolutely nothing at Championship level. Turn off your blinkers.
