Didn't they pay over a million for him? Need more than that.

No idea. The Sun reckon they're ready to sell at that price, but we'll see. I would assume if we did get Jota, we won't pursue Ince. We can't afford both, surely.

Would be shocked if we sold him for £2 million. I think any team that wants him would have to double that atleast.

According to Alan Nixon, we've bid £2m for Jota from Brentford. Would be VERY pleased with that!
Treble it and we'll talk.

And he was bought for £1.5m, so there's no way we'd sell for £2m. Can't see him going for less than Forshaw did, should be more.

MagpieBee what's the likelihood of Grigg leaving you this summer?
Pretty likely I'd imagine. New manager might want to have a look at him, as he is a very good player, but it never seemed to click for him here. We'll probably bring in a striker or two in the close season, so you can probably get him for £400-500k

Problem is there is no way we have that sort of money or would spend it. The absolute best I imagine you could get from us is like £200,000. I love Grigg and I think he really, really likes playing here, I don't think we can afford him though. If anything I think another team with more money than us will come in for him.

I don't know if players have a massive say but hopefully he tries to force a move to us, you never know, your owners might not mind getting £200,000 as long as there are a few clauses thrown in.

Please?

Jed Wallace anyone for £275k? That's what it'll cost to trigger his release clause. I know Wolves are interested.

I'm abit disappointed we will lose him for such a small amount but he was out of contract last season and would only resign again with the clause.

Would really like him, but I would have expected to pay at least around 1million for him? Only issue I've heard is that he can be a bit of a twat off the pitch, but not sure how true that is.

I would imagine he would end up with you guys, probably for something like £300k, with some sell on clauses

Reportedly we were interested before January, but signed McLeod instead. Might be that we go back in for him now that Pritch has gone.

I've never heard anything about him off the pitch, no sightings at 3am outside Tiger Tiger, no Cheeky Nandos with the lads posts on Instagram or no failed drug tests.

Bloody hell I sound like his agent.

We're rumoured to have been keeping tabs on Wallace for a while, can't see us competing with Wolves though unfortunately. Would be a great signing, especially at that price

I hope we go in for him especially at that price. We can almost certainly offer him first team football as that is one of the weakest areas of our squad but don't think we can compete with some other clubs financially. Unless the fact that he's from Reading (and rumoured to be a Reading fan?) pulls any weight..

Apparently we and Fulham have placed bids or something for Lewis Dunk.

Better than what we currently have, but is he good enough to help us chase promotion?
He came on loan to us last season, and played only 2 games before going back injured - but from the little we seen of him, he looked fairly tidy.

I'd be keen on Jed Wallace, providing we sign Lewis McGugan we'd have some good competition in there with Lee, Wallace and McGugan.

Wouldn't everyone (Wallace and the club) wait until Paul Cook has properly got his slippers by the fireplace and made his first plans?
On the other hand, I heard that Cook still has strong Wolves connections. Personally, I'd love Wallace to come to Wolves. And Whatmough. And Paterson from Gosport Borough.

If Wednesday don't get McGugan - I'd want us to go in for him, he's been there and done it at this level, and we're in desperate need of at least 1 central midfielder.

Also - Leon Clarke released, worth a punt?

Leon needs a new home, and I think you're one of the few 92 football league clubs who haven't had him at some point.. I say go for it

One word sums that up: Deluded.

At these prices, I can only see him going to a club like Bournemouth. Or Eastleigh.
But hand on heart, I think Sako owes it to himself to be plying his trade next season at the home of football, the DW Stadium.

Probably worth two punts fifty, to be honest.
Do you have some kind of game plan for next season that involves a man wandering round aimlessly for short periods of time?
Well, we had JET last season ;)

To be fair, Clarke's level is probably L1 - as he proved at Coventry, but it'll be interesting to see whether a Championship club gamble on him.
