TBH I don't think either of them will be great at Championship level. Pace is generally what matters. Then you'll be able to capture him, if the money you offer is right.
FWIW I think Bradshaw would be a better bet than Gregory.
He seemed to carry Ipswich when they played us.Is Pringle good enough for the Championship? definite interest on our side it seems.
Pringle deal basically done. Pic of him going into the offices at Deepdale.
Fair play. good player is Pringle.Pringle deal basically done. Pic of him going into the offices at Deepdale.

Out of interest, does anyone know who this is in the red hat? The latest guess is Lewis Grabban.

Stockhausen just said that he is out until the end of the year through injury.Got told tonight we're back in for Todd Kane. Didn't say whether it's a loan or permanently. Make of that what you will, but I presume if he does come in then the Matthews deal is dead in the water.
What's he done?Stockhausen just said that he is out until the end of the year through injury.
Gone quite quiet at this end on that, local journos have said it's going well but I'm worried in case there's any stalling as I know what we're like, or have been like in the past.
As you've said yourself, I'll be really happy with this myself as it not only improves our options upfront but has proven ability at this level, something that we're possibly lacking within our current crop.
I gather Ritchie deal is done as of this evening.
10m rising to 12 if (when) Newcastle are promoted. 5 year deal for Ritchie on a better wage. All parties are happy and it'll be announced soon, as soon as tomorrow perhaps.
We have our own income transfer that we'd like to coincide time wise to try and temper our fans disappointment.

I think the £1.3m is our share of the sale, Everton are owed 50% sell on.Can't see the McCormack rumour being true he'd cost far too much, and clean seem the type of signing we'd go for.
Oh and if Jake Bidwell is going for as cheap as £1.3M I'd like to think we'd be looking at him, we need a left back.
Todd Kane went to the Netherlands to N.E.C in the Eredivise, started pretty much all their games until he injured his ACL in April. What's he done?
Puts that one to bed then if it's true - I'd rather us go in for Matthews, but I haven't been keeping track of Todd's progress since he left us.
Reporting the McCormack bid is 11.5million, would be amazed if that were true
Ritchie been offered £55k a week at Newcastle. Taking the absolute piss fellers.
Mings was sold for £8m to Bournemouth last summer. We sold Odubajo for £3.5m to Hull last summer. When was the last time a Championship full back went for £2.6m? It's probably the position that demands the lowest value.
Chris Gunter is currently first choice for a team in the final 8 of the Euros, good age, supposedly available for £1m.
We had him on loan at the back end of last season; I'd agree with the Rotherham fans' assessment. Technically good, but has no pace and has a tendency to drift in and out of games. He is good enough for the Championship, but I'm happy we didn't try to sign him permanently. Is Pringle good enough for the Championship? definite interest on our side it seems.

The crazy thing is that even if it's £1.3m it would have meant that in the last 12 months we've sold 3 of our 4 League One defenders/back four for upward of £10m combined!Mings was sold for £8m to Bournemouth last summer. We sold Odubajo for £3.5m to Hull last summer.
There are some variants on the amount we are getting for him (ranging from £1.3m to £3m) - I hope it's the higher amount. Given he has so much experience, is still so young and has lots of room to improve, I would suggest it's a fair price! I think we've also shown over the past couple of years we negotiate very well in getting good value for our players (though less well when they only have a year left on the contract as Bidwell does).
Would be a blow to lose him, but the club have done pretty well in the past bringing in replacements, so hopefully they'll be able to do so again!
Wow! Is he worth £7m or is his potential worth £7m? Good price either way - who's looking at buying him?Iorfa is predominantly played as a full back too, he looks like he'll be sold this summer for 7m.
