Kodjia's deleted every post City related on his Instagram and has unfollowed us.

Don't really care now if he goes, especially if what City169 said is true.

If the bid is over £10m and closer to 15 like some are speculating then there is no question, you sell. Regardless of what SL said we cannot be dependant on his money and £10-£15m is a huge amount for us, if allowed to reinvest it then we could be looking at being able to afford 2 or 3 quality replacements and I think City's nerves at letting him go would have been eased slightly by the way Tammy has started.

I've heard a few rumours today, some dependant on others happening, but what Ive heard is Newcastle are preparing a £10m bid for Kodjia and are willing to bid up to £15m for him (ridiculous I know). On the flip side it sounds like we have an agreement in place to sign Patrick Bamford permanently.

In defense we are after a CB from Serie A. I didn't get the name, but told it was someone people would have heard of, and if this signing goes through we are willing to let Derrick Williams move to Blackburn
Walkley_Owl based on this I would expect

Not seen owt about Kodjia going on here fella so seemed a random post.
Oh yeah, it's just been noticed by one of our fans on Twitter mate. Purely assumption at this point of course, but you can find out a lot from looking at a player's social media today, and it seems strange that he'd unfollow the club and then delete everything City related mind!

Not sure why people are gutted it's plain to see Garner isn't good enough for the championship.

Not as good as Garner.

Gray and Hogan are punts that could have gone either way. Big risk. Vibe is shite.

Or we did our homework on Hogan and Gray, gave them significantly better training than they'd had access to and they've massively paid off. It's not much of a punt if you know what you're doing. The amounts involved for both players would indicate the opposite of a big risk. Spoofing £4m+ on a similar type of striker would represent a risk.

Vibe scored 14 goals last season, his first year playing in England. Not too bad, eh?

Birkir Bjarnason being linked with Wolves, he is the long haired midfielder that looked slightly like the guy that played Thor, think he may have actually scored against England?

I hope its true purely because not since John De Wolf have we had something running around with the sort of glorious mane that only a European can get away with.

Fuck it, think we should go and sign everyone from Iceland's Euro 2016 squad. Sell everyone else except for Dangerous Dave, and boom, promotion...

A shame Bjorn was unbelievably shit, he would have suited the Icelandic theme.

Signed David Jones per Daily Mail, including a quote from the player.

It just appears that teams' local journos are just running with the story that big bad (bottom of the league) Newcastle are going to poach their best/better players as we have the spending power to do so.

As far as I can see there's no foundation in any of the recent links. The Chronicle even had to come out yesterday morning and clarify that no bid for Forestieri had been made.

Just seems like lazy journalism on both sides of you ask me as we desperately need goals. I'll look silly now if this one's true mind you!

He isn't good enough, I think it's more because of everything he gave us while he was here that it's a shame to see him go. It's the right time though I reckon and a good deal for us.

I'm sure I remember him saying he was a United fan and wanted to be the new Roy Keane when he signed on loan for us. Good player, your looking strong this year.
Meant to quote WalkleyOwl.

Meant to quote WalkleyOwl.

Jones, who came through the ranks at Premier League giants Manchester United, joined Burnley in 2013 following his release from Wigan Athletic. He has four promotions to the Premier League on his CV, including two with the Clarets. “Wednesday is a massive club with fantastic, passionate fans and I’m delighted to be here,” said Jones. “I can’t wait to get started. I supported them growing up and loved watching the likes of Chris Waddle play.”

Aye think we still need cover at CB, LB and another winger but it's a strong squad but one that must be costing a whack.

I would suggest clubs of our and your level (would rank you above us definitely, but still as you say you can't compete) have to go for punts.

Trust your management to get it right, our whole strategy is around punts now and we do pretty well off it.

Vibe isn't amazing but still got 14 goals last year, not a terrible return especially as he went through patches of being on the bench / injured. Better than Garner anyway!
