Wood's been offered a new 3 year contract (in essence a one year extension as his current deal is until 2019). Given the rest of our contract dealings since Radrizzani has come in have been dealt with on the quiet and then announced relatively spontaneously by the club, I'd say there's trouble brewing.... this smells like a move by the club to take the focus of blame off themselves if/when he does go elsewhere.........either that or he signs and it's the best bit of business we do this window!

Although given we didn't sign Gyan for not being fit last season, I cannot see us taking on McCormack.

I reckon we'll spend all Summer chasing proven Championship players then decide to throw £5m on a League One player who has started the season well..
