Gardner wants to go back to Forest, he recently moved just outside of Nottingham with his missus.

Bridcutt signing for somewhere between £500k-£1m. That is a superb bit of business as every time I've seen him he's run the show against us. Seems to have lost his way slightly but I have no doubt Warburton will get the best out of him. We are lacking a bit of bite in the middle so this will be a significant gap filled.

Our business this summer has been frankly brilliant.

We've sold Britt for £15m and replaced him with Murphy (£2m), Darikwa (£1.5m), Cummings (£1m), McKay (£500k), Dowell (loan) and now Bridcutt (£1m). Still leaves us £9m up.

I think we need a centre half still and maybe even a full back, but pretty happy with how our squad looks and the football has been so much better in just a few matches.

Guess we will have to agree to disagree. Someone like Hugill wouldn't fit our style at all.

I thought Gallagher was chosing between us, you and Villa? Decent player for any of us tbh.

Hugill wouldn't fit your style, but Sam Gallagher would?

Am I missing something here? Aren't they extremely similar players?

I've not seen enough of Gallgher to know his style (maybe someone who has could give you a better answer) but he scored a cracker against us last season. Remember him being rapid for a big man.

haha I quoted those messages to say exactly the same thing but you beat me to it. They are practically identical as players but Hugill is better imo. Classic Mark.

We shall see if he comes down here, I know who I'd rather have but it will probably be neither seeing as Gallagher looks set for Birmingham.

I remember Hugill coming to Molineux last season and did absolutely nothing against one of the worst home teams in the league. There aren't many players who Danny Batth can say has had in his back pocket.

Wood has joined Burnley, chairman has said all money is going back into the squad

Jordan Hugill is top on our list apparently and Orta and Radz are in Italy atm looking at another target

I expect 2 strikers to come in, seen as Ekuban has injured himself for 8 weeks :(

What made you go from being happy to take £4m for Hugill to now wanting £8m?

I'd guess the insane market and an apparent increase in clubs who want him.

I wouldn't be happy if we accepted £4m for him but I probably would have seen it as a good deal at the start of summer.

I think £6m will do it, that's the fee that keeps getting touted about anyway.

No ta. Don't see how he fits with our ball playing WIZARDS in behind the front man.

Birmingham paying a £2m loan fee for Gallagher and after that £13m should they want him permanently.

Insane money to loan a player, i'd be expecting a guy who has bagged 20+ at this level for that sort of money.

That's crazy.. probably a fine if he doesn't play him some weeks too!

I thought the rumoured 1 mil we have to Chelsea last year for Tammy was a bit excessive, but if it wasn't for his goals we would of gone down.. maybe Birmingham are hoping the same

Linked with Ben Pearson of Preston. Not sure we need him, already well stocked in that area.

We spent a £2.5m loan fee on a player who meets that criteria (and had won Championship player of the season) and he scored 3 goals... in a team that managed to make Nick Blackman prolific.

Glad our club has an anti-loan stance now. Don't want to see money wasted like that again.

Saw that on HITC, it also mentions Burnley and Sunderland. No disrespect to Reading but think PNE would be more worried about those two.

Forgot my man Bouchalakis. The only man who has won goal of the week twice in the same week. Looks a great signing and cost us sweet FA.

I think he played 18 minutes in 6 months for us.. good luck.

Indeed. Didn't do a great deal for us in his last loan spell with us. Scored 4 times in 28 matches. The odd good game but more often than not he was average. Don't think we need another winger anyway.

How is Jon Dadi doing for you?
