How is Jon Dadi doing for you?

Played in a friendly against Vitesse Arnhem and went off injured. Played on the opening day of the season at Qpr and went off injured. Haven't seen enough of him to give an opinion yet. Could do with him back asap as our striking options are limited.

Birmingham paying a £2m loan fee for Gallagher and after that £13m should they want him permanently.

Where's the £13m permanent fee being reported? Surprised if that's true.

Saw that on HITC, it also mentions Burnley and Sunderland. No disrespect to Reading but think PNE would be more worried about those two.
Sunderland are brassic, plus we'd charge them a lot more than anyone else cos of Grayson.

Yeah, I doubt any of the clubs mentioned would pay what you're valuing him at (maybe Burnley). I just meant Reading would probably be the least likely to tempt the player himself.

Let's be honest, I saw it on HITC. It's going to be bollocks anyway.

It's a shame that we have decided to help out a side that is managed by Harry Redknapp.

Linked with Ben Pearson of Preston. Not sure we need him, already well stocked in that area.

Ha, it's a HITC/ O'Rouke article. I.E. Bollocks.

You'd have no chance of signing him.

I'm not saying it's going to happen, but O'Rourke has been pretty accurate with our transfers so far this window. They were the first to break that we had bid for Nelson Oliveria (Norwich) which was later confirmed by the Norwich manager.

Although all the article says is that we would be interested in signing him. We would be interested in signing Messi too if he was available.

We would be able to offer him enough wages to tempt him away, but no chance would we spend the transfer fee required. We have plenty of CMs (well until Pearson helped injure half of them on Saturday..)

True...but you had to...
to someone

Southampton Football Club’s new owner funded his 200 million-pound ($257 million) takeover of the English Premier League team with a loan from a Chinese government-backed bank in Hong Kong, people familiar with the matter said.

A Chinese investor group led by Lander Sports Development Co. Chairman Gao Jisheng settled the bulk of the acquisition cost with a loan from Hong Kong’s Nanyang Commercial Bank Ltd., according to the people. The consortium purchased an 80 percent stake in Southampton in a deal completed this week, one of the people said, asking not to be identified because the information is private.

Now foreclosed and prohibited from exporting money from the Chinese mainland...but not HK.

Up the S*** Creek, so unloading is now an emergency income stream that comes too late.

Thank You for Sam....:bg: :bg:

WOLVES ..... jeeez..they are in the biggest mess.

Yes mate, we really are in a mess, lost every game so far and are bottom of the league. We're massively fucked.

You'd know a lot about dodgy Asian owners who indulge with a bit of money laundering being a Birmingham fan wouldn't you?

I'm sure we wouldn't have a player worth £70m training with our kids if we were up the shit creek.

Bricutt signed for £750k. Really impressed with that signing as he's exactly what we needed and also cost about 10% of what Fulham wanted for McDonald.

£8m would definitely tickle Trevor Hemmings' pickle, I think £6m would land Hugill though.

HITC (sceptical of anything they publish) have linked us to 19yr old, Jamie Brandon from Hearts who sounds like a bit of a utility man.

Fuck sake, forgot about the Port Vale sell-on clause.

Can we not just say 'soz cha, we've changed our minds now, we can't be assed giving you any coin from the Hugill money'

Chuck them a packet of pickled onion Monster Munch, a can of Lilt and a fiver and hope they go away.

Vultures.

Aye £25k, the sell-on will be 20%-25%.

Can't complain, he's been an absolute bargain and no doubt we'll get a very decent fee for him.

Similar to when we sold Nugent who we only paid £100k for but sold for £6m.

This rumour is bollocks, that Peter O'Rourke doesn't have a clue now he's freelance, just a puppet for agents.

In other news, that useless ginger bastard, Eoin Doyle has turned down a loan move to Plymouth.

Only highlights our need for a striker. Dicko (also linked with a move away) and Bonatini (on loan) are our only 2 senior strikers at the club.

We're just waiting for official confirmation of two incomings and one outgoing. Sam Clucas is off to Swansea for £16.5m and Stephen Kingsley is making the opposite switch on a permanent. If we've got £16.5m + Kingsley for Clucas then we've had Swansea's pants down here. We've also agreed a £3m fee with Arsenal for Jon Toral. Player had a medical yesterday and now wondering what's holding the announcement up.
