Jeremie Boga has joined Birmingham on loan, decent signing. Will be interesting to see how quickly all these new signings can adapt to playing with each other in a new system.

Can't blame Hugil for wanting to go. Who wouldn't want to triple there wages?

Need to get behind the lad now and push for play offs. The only reason I think we have rejected the request is because the board believe we have a shot this season. As do I.

Big gamble as we could feck all for him next summer depending how this season goes. Fair play PNE. Love it

Wolves being linked with Ashley Barnes now by some gutter accounts...how much did you say you wanted for this Hugill lad then?! As think I've changed my mind now on us buying him!

Harry still wants him, we have come back with a third bid of £3.5m.

If we get both Dean & Flint, that should pave the way for Shotton to move to Middlesbrough.

Flint's goal tally over the prior 3 seasons beats Hugill's by a fair amount so I'd expect nothing less than 16m.

Hmm looks like Hugill is gone then. No idea who we could get to replace him, even if we bid £5m for someone we wouldn't break our wage structure to match it. I'd go for a premier league loan but no suggestions who.

I'm sure we'd partially subsidise them at this point to get him off the books.

What's he on there? we won't pay more than £10k.

I wouldn't want him anyway.

i guarantee McCormack would score 20 goals or more in a team like ours

Villa think hes a shit player because he can't do anything for them? was fine at Cardiff, Leeds then Fulham maybe its the coaching?

looks like Lasogga is closing in on a transfer to Leeds, no fucking clue how we are paying his 59k per week wages

actually been told it's a loan deal so there's surely some wage percentage reduced

Some Leeds fan has been having fun with his wiki page. Still a bit weird having your mum as your agent.

Or maybe, just maybe, it's down to the fact he's been a spoilt lazy prick since he signed for us thinking he was the big cheese and eventually falling down the pecking order to being below an 18 year old kid who'd not played a professional match until last season, and Gabby fucking Agbonlahor.

It wasn't just about the gate either if you read into the situation. The lack of training showed on the pitch last season, and even this preseason.

He also did great at Forest on loan last season too, eh?

Could be as much as £7.5m for Sone Aluko (after clauses etc).. Ouch

Not used to us spending money, I much prefer the cheaper punts..

I also can't believe how we've brought in 3 wingers this Summer, plus 1 in January when our best formation last season didn't have any wingers in it!

Dicko sold to Hull for 3.5m. As good a time it is to be a Wolves fan at the moment, it's also sad to see a lot of the so called old guard being surpless to requirements. Best of luck Nouha.

Dicko and Edwards are two players I wish immense success to and will always want to see do well, however neither fit what we are doing. I have Dave Edwards signature on a signed footy I won that was from our first year in the prem. He was the last remaining player still at the club out of the 15 or so sig's on there.

I have his Welsh shirt from when he played Croatia a few years ago... can't remember how I got it mind.

The club put this on twitter, Our amazing stikeforce of Sako, Afobe and Dicko now all gone...

I am not into the Afobe, Sako, Dicko love. That little rat Afobe can get fecked, Sako staying through Div 1 was immense, not just because of his talent but because of his attitude and work ethic towards that year. It's a shame he has had so much time out through injury at Palace as made a great start. Afobe doesn't belong in the same sorts of levels of respect as the other two.

I hate how he left us but as a player he was brilliant for us. I'd welcome him back tomorrow with open arms.

Some in the press believe we're making attempts to sign Gayle from Newcastle. Not sure about his injury record but if he status for and we don't solely rely upon him to replace Wood's 20-odd goals he'd be a good addition.

Lasogga confirmed season-long loan.

Not exactly "reinvesting" the Wood money as promised but if we can revitalise him a bit then could be a good signing.

good business though, and besides gives us a January warchest (sorry Bates favourite word) to reinvest if needed, atm I wouldn't change a thing!

Gayle would cost more than Wood surely, so unless you're really willing to invest money I'd suggest that's a non starter

Newcastle apparently lowered their asking price so would cost less than Wood but I don't think it was ever a goer really...wages obviously greater too.

Sone Aluko confirmed. Hope he's worth it. Even at the lower end of the rumoured fees it's almost double our transfer record.

Still one more to join before Friday too.
