Hope your right pal

They'll probably click but they can't hang around too long, this league is going to be as competitive as ever I think.

Not sure if Carvalhal's approach is the one for them.

John Percy linking us with a 3 million pound bid for Cameron Jerome. Norwich fans?

Always been a steady player at this level but can't help think we're a couple years too late. He'll fit in with our other 30+ strikers though.
Might mean the end for Chris Martin, Jerome would fit better into how we want to play under Rowett.

Basing it on last week's showing how the fuck is that exactly :2thumb::2thumb:

Suspect just Cibicki and Lasogga today. Both deals already done by all accounts but waiting for announcements today so it looks like we've had a busy deadline day I expect.

Just read that Fulham have put in £30mil worth of bids for Gayle, Jota and Forestieri.

Three serious signings if they pull them off.

How's Brownhill getting on at your place? His career stalled somewhat at PNE but sounds like he has upper his game a bit since going Bristol

No way they'd get all 3 for £30m, Gayle alone will be upwards of £15m

I rate him, does a lot of the stuff that goes largely unnoticed. One of our best players for transitioning from defence to attack quickly, although he's been playing right mid as of late, likely to change now we have Leko.

Sky are reporting that we have agreed a £6m fee with Brentford for Jota :bdick:
Joke of a fee, but we don't have the budget to keep players like that if they won't sign a new deal.

Absolute joke that he's going to Birmingham as well. Hardly a step up at all, other than wages. Can't believe we didn't have some better offers.

Not a chance we'll sell Forestieri for any less than 15M our chairman isn't daft. If he hadn't spat his dummy out last season and just got his head down he'd be in the Premier League now with or without us, instead he's going to end up at another tinpot Championship team playing in front of 15,000 a week.

Jota would be a great signing for anyone in this league. Can't believe he's going to Birmingham for 6 million! Great signing if true

John Percy reporting that we want your RB too, Maxime Colin.

There will be nothing left of Brentford after Harry and his crew of miscreants have pillaged & plundered your club.

When Wolves signed our Jota I was delighted as originally thought it was the Brentford one. Great signing.

Will be a good signing for blues.

Never understood the statement they released about him not going to another Championship club. Just a bizarre thing to say when it was pretty obvious he would be.

15m are you serious I'd take half that if I was you're chairman he clearly isn't interested and seems to be a bad egg in the camp. And tbh if Birmingham are getting jota for 6m if I was you I'd be selling 1FF and getting him instead.

Would walk into the first team of any team in this league. Really surprised one of the promoted sides hasn't taken a punt on him.

Dread to think what Birmingham have offered him wage wise. We've apparently offered £20kpw, which is double our current highest earner, so for him to turn us down for them they have to be breaking the bank somewhat.

If Jordan Hugill is going for 8M then no way we should under sell. He's still one of the best players in the league and in today's market someone will pay it. Wouldn't say he's not interested either he was the only player to come away from Preston with any credit, but agree I'd be quite pleased if 1FF went and we got Jota but not a chance it will happen.

You might want to narrow it down, there are a lot of UTD's in England
Rejected, but this is becoming a very shitty day. Seems we have given up on the season after an unlucky start, selling assets and will hope to stay up and go again next year.

I know we don't have a huge amount of money, and need to sell to plug the gap, but coming so soon after half our stadium plans have been scrapped is a massive kick in the teeth.
