I might be wrong- but wasn't he the only player last season in the Champ to exceed both 10 assists (11) and 10 goals (16)? Not sure if that was just a fact for us as a club, or the league as a whole... so somebody feel free to correct me??

Either way, if you watched him play last season you would see he's a very good level for the Champ - even in a side like Ipswich of last season.

I don't think he's 'very good' but he had a decent season, you did get him producing, he played well both games v us mind.

In days gone by he'd cost about 750k but as I said the game is fucked.

Weimann is an absolute workhorse but his end product leaves a lot to be desired. He's liked here but 2 million is decent business for us. No doubt you'll take to him, Wolves fans seemed to like him when he went on loan there too.

Ellery Balcombe, he’s the England Under 19 goalkeeper, just signed him to a long term contract a couple of weeks ago, so I don’t think it’s true.

But as you’ve said before, contracts don’t mean too much. I’d be surprised if we sold him though without a huge number of add ons, very highly rated (hence the I think 5 year deal we just gave him...)
