looking forward to the game tomorrow, a rare low pressure game with only finishing 18th or 19th at stake, set to be decent weather and as of this morning only 800 tickets left so with the sell out away end should be a cracking atmosphere.

As for the game depends how arsed we are, Ojo in the pre match interview actually suggested the players felt we were safe in January with the points we’ve had and got complacent which is pretty disappointing but backs up what we’ve seen!

Hopefully with pressure off us we can play more relaxed, we’ve generally performed better against the better sides even if we’ve sometimes fell a little short on occasions.

Hoping to see Plant start this one as he’s played twice away but didn’t get much of a run last home game and really excited by the youngsters showings so far, would be great to see him get another run and depending how it goes maybe through young Tommy McDermott on toward the end.

Ellis Harrison is out but looks like James Wilson should be back for this one, possibly his final game for us, no news on Worrall, some rumours he’s been offered a deal but if not I’d hope they’d let us know before so we can say farewell to a great servant.

Hopefully no sour scenes at the end and pitch invasions are handled correctly, ideally none at all after last years trouble we can’t really afford any bad scenes but we will see!

This debate about including unused season tickets in attendance figures is weird - very few clubs will do so, if only because HMRC will want to see some evidence that the attendances correlate with the receipts declared for VAT when they do a VAT inspection.
I’m not aware of any clubs at League One level that do so.
We announce our attendances as Tickets Sold instead of turnstile clicks, but the powers that be have that figure as well because they need to know in case of emergencies.

It happens far more regularly than you’d expect.

Not sure on our line up, Wilson is back but only two centre halves starting so assume it’s 4 at the back unless Mal is playing centre half.

Possibly 4-3-3. Defensively that looks very weak, great to see Planty start and a reward for 16 year old Shorrock making the bench.

I doubt Ipswich fans are going be happy with the week line up we have put out. I wouldn't be surprised if we get reported for losing on purpose

It’s very open, a winger or converted RWB playing RB, two centres halves one of whom is a left back really (Donnelly).

It’s fairly open, if Cass is fit why not stick with three at the back but guess it’s looking at next season.

Otherwise not too downbeat should have more threat going forward although JW9 isn’t really suited to the sole striker role and depends if Massey can be arsed this week or not!

Assume Butterworth is out wide which is the first time since Plymouth away when he tore them a new one that night.

Wilson isn't fit, Massey is bone idle and conlon has been hopeless all season. I now call him conman.

My wife came against Rovers and thought Massey was brilliant because he worked so hard… I was like… yeah first time this season! It’s a nice sunny day maybe he will fancy it in his preferred position as well.

Has goals written all over it, both for and against this line up. We can’t defend so may as well have a go.

Finally we have our best players back. Will be nice to see out the season with a win but I'm aware there are bigger issues at stake. Morecambe are already in good voice

Great start, Butterworth opened them up with a beauty of a ball for Planty to score again. Since then we’ve sat in a bit mind but look dangerous on the break.

Dixon is playing in the nets, he has played a few games in the cups and has been awful, another complete disaster by him for Bristol Rover's equaliser. Also Gethin Jones off injured

Think that half was Vale in a nutshell. Some decent football at times and largely been competitive in the game. Unfortunately all let down by some vomit inducing defending on their first goal. Plymouths second goal was some brilliant football to be fair.

Looking good for Cambridge so far.

Frustrating to be losing this, we’ve played well but a ricochet and a sloppy piece of defending but that sums up our season from a defensive point of view.

Still well in it though and since the goal we’ve looked better again, felt at 1-0 we showed way too much respect to Argyle and sat deep then they look very shakey at the back.

Having the better of this, but chances falling to the wrong players.

Yep, they “frustrating we are losing this” is pretty much a weekly occurrence. Had them where we wanted them before that mess, their winger was diving and they seemed to be getting desperate.

Keep going though it’s good fun and we are giving it a good go so Ipswich can’t moan about that.

Derby in trouble.

Down to 10 men and 1-0 down.

Peterborough should be more ahead at Barnsley too.

Surely if ticket is sold VAT would be chargeable regardless of actual attendance?
Yeah, sorry, I have that arse about face; VAT reporting consistency is the reason for reporting tickets sold, not fans attending.
It was a long day…

Cambridge fans have now got 45 minutes of being nervously glued to Flashscores with their game looking in the bag.

United playing some decent stuff - I’m hoping for another goal second half.
It’s odd being totally dependent on results elsewhere though…

Brilliant finish by Finn Azaz, that lad loves playing against us. Should seal the title for Plymouth, shame as we were just getting on top in the half.

Would say it looks close to done for Morecambe now barring a miracle. Down to what happens at Burton.
