Sounds like our huge clash with the Gas is getting close to a sell out.

Could be struggling to fill the bench though, JMT still out, Stevenson out for a month with a knee injury, McCann going for a scan & Clarke now out for the season and gone back to Reading. Casey suspended as well.

Clarke gone means our striking options are Bakayoko, who so far looks like an absolute donkey, or Omotoye, who is more of a winger and has still never scored in senior football. Goals might be a problem. Suppose it doesn’t really matter at this point, but it would be nice for us to at least provide some entertainment for the rest of the season.

It goes from bad to worse...at least there could be a decent atmosphere on Saturday with the ground full, or maybe that should be interesting, I'm guessing that the insane rush for tickets isn't all from home fans or neutrals!

Disagree completely - we're bang in form, haven't even conceded a goal in the last five games. Which matches do you anticipate us dropping points in? Barnsley and Bolton? I'd be amazed if we don't get to 92 at the minimum. Yet I don't think that will be enough for top two.
And what was the average league position of those 5 clubs?

Your next 5 fixtures reads

Bolton (A)
Shrewsbury (H)
Barnsley (A)
Derby (A)
Wycombe (H)

I anticipate that you will drop at least 5 points out of that lot infact I predict you will get 7 points in total.

2 W - Shrewsbury & Wycombe
2 L - Barnsley & Derby
1 D - Bolton

Would surely be a record if you finish third on that.

I know we managed to miss out and lose the Play Off final on 89 points in 1992/93 (MK did the same total last season) which must be about the record high for failing to go up in the third tier?
See Sheff Utd 2011/12, and who pipped them

In the third tier yes. Wrexham got 98 in the conference about 10 years ago and weren’t promoted.

Kiddy got pipped by Mansfield on high 90's as well. They actually lost their first 6 or 7 as well, they had an incredible run after that.

Exeter for us tomorrow.

House is 50/50 with a knock picked up on Tuesday, Rushworth and Roughan are still struggling with illness (the latter being pulled from the squad in midweek), no Walsh and no Eyoma but Jackson is back in training, albeit will probably only be on the bench to try and fill it, and Virtue got 20 minutes or so on his return against Cheltenham.

For the first time this season we have three decent CM options in Bishop, Virtue and Erhahon!

Going for a 1-0/2-0 loss. I think the travelling will have more of an impact on us than the midweek game as such and we seem happy to tick over, play it safe and look to take one of the two or three chances we create - which generally doesn't happen too often, hence all the draws!

Facing Wednesday after our season- ending defeat at Barnsley on Tuesday. Our home form is pretty solid so we may eke out a draw in this one. That will no doubt be fine for Wednesday as it will keep their unbeaten run going and they cross off another one of their "difficult" fixtures.

The club already seem to be priming us for another upper-mid-table budget for next season. In an interview, Mousinho talked about us fans obviously wanting to get out of League One at the 7th attempt. He then said that the club have the same goal in the "medium to long term". Great. So another season of sniping at the last play off spot awaits! I suppose that would be progress as this is the 3rd season in a row that we've missed out.

Well I feel like we’ll be losing a couple of big spenders and replacing them with slightly less flush options next season - Hudds I think have a healthy budget, but perhaps Blackpool and Wigan less so?

Not sure, but away fans tend to drink in Stroud or other places en route rather than go to one of the pubs in Nailsworth or use the Brewdog bar at the ground...doubt if all the pubs in the county would be closed even if those at the bottom of the hill are.

Yeah, doesn't look like they will have too much cash to throw around.

Wednesday won't be around next season and possibly Ipswich? While it would be quite funny to see them miss out on promotion, it won't help clubs like us if they're still around next year, clogging up one of the auto spots.

Yeah, it is shocking how many people struggle to exist when they are denied an opportunity to consume beer or meat...guess it is just those who lack the imagination, or ingenuity, to satisfy their needs that it really affects.

Look on the upside, you didn't get a ticket...maybe you could spend the afternoon at Cribbs, instead of freezing your proverbials off watching footy on top of the hill!

Tomorrows game must seriously be in doubt if the forecast for tonight is anything to go by. 10am pitch inspection should clear things up hopefully, shame we will be just passing Sheffield at this point

Looks unlikely to go ahead, its going to drop to -5 apparently tonight so the snow won't thaw and will be icy underfoot around the ground

Yeah thats the temperature I read mate. As you quite rightly say it will be the safety of the supporters which will be the reason for pulling the game, not the pitch.

Ill be watching on ifollow. Probably with a beer and/or burger but then im not very imaginative.
Just strange with pubs struggling across the UK, the ones nearby dont want footy fans swelling the coffers

The club might not learn from previous errors but at least the local Constabulary seem capable...it is probably them who have decided that the pubs should be shut...there have been a few instances in the past where drunken idiots from visiting clubs have caused issues, guess it makes sense to try and avoid a repeat if at all possible.

Been in the Village Inn & Britannia plenty of times with oppo fans and been no aggro at all, apart from the occasional minor incident which you are always going to get. Poor decision by the police imo which punishes the majority.

Gas fans can at least have a drink though, in the away fans ‘zone’ at the back of north stand.
