Would of been ideal to have rearranged Barrow for Tuesday with us having not played this weekend and given us chance to keep up on games played rather than lose ground and have a backlog.

Looking for a treble having beaten Salford twice in league and cup away this season but they seem much improved from the early season.

Big game again and one we probably need to win to keep well in the auto race with us falling another game behind on most of our rivals.

Bradford away. We never seem to do well up there, at least not since we won this league in 2008…

Another loss.

Should be beating the likes of MK given how #shit they are, we generally do well against soft tippy tappy southern teams but we’ve got Birmingham in the Paint Pot cup first.
2-0 Tommy Leigh to score (Looooool, we both know that’s not happening).

Feels quite a pivotal and tricky game, win and it sets up a game with Tranmere nicely. Fair to win and then it feels like we are spluttering and puts huge pressure on next game.

With a healthier squad I would be confident of the 6 needed points but the diagnosis for McGoldrick was disappointing along with the rest.

Fleetwood away on Tuesday then Colchester away on Saturday. In all honesty we haven't been playing well away from home in recent game's. Drawing but not winning. We started the same team yesterday as started against Crewe midweek. A few changes might be needed to freshen it up. Fortunately we only have 3 or 4 out injured so we have enough on the bench to do so. We are unbeaten in 10 I think so we are proving hard to beat. 3 or 4 points from the next two game's would be good.

Can't you at least let the other team score now and then?

We’ve lost every game we’ve ever played against Fleetwood and granted that’s only 3 games but we’re so unpredictable at home that absolutely anything could happen here.
Fuck knows, hopefully a win.

Yeah Cowley United look an awkward prospect at the best of times, with a few injuries to the usual suspects it could be a right bogger.

Could do with someone nobbling the scoreboard, get it called off again.

The other times we have played Salford this season, they've looked shite. Looked like a season of struggle for them after we comfortably beat them on the opening day. Obviously they've picked up again since then but they've only won 1 of their last 7, so not in great form. We just need to win in any manner, simply to keep up with other teams who are playing a game more than us this week and will pick up points.

A kinder run of fixtures coming up, so any kind of 3 points would be huge.

Hope Carlisle win, the fanbase deserves a home win for a change having seen about 3 in a year!!

But I was at a game in 1991 or 1992 cannot fully remember and gillingham had not won away in ages and rocked up and won. i would not be surprised because I cannot for life of me remember when we beat gillingham

I'm making my first visit to Newport on Saturday. My sister lives down that way, so I'm meeting her for lunch then heading to the game.

We've beat them twice already this season, but a lot of that was down to Joel Colwill. Also, both games were in August so a lot of water has passed under the bridge since then.

Just noticed they're top of the form table as well, and we've not scored in the league away from home in 2025 (or even had a shot on target in the last two games). Also, my son is going to his 9th ever away game and he's never seen us win away. It doesn't bode well.

We are in must win territory now if we are to have any hopes of a promotion push. Can’t see it and fully expect us to lose or draw at Swindon who’ve had real upturn in form under Holloway.

We have two banana skin waybdays coming up. I'd be happy with 3 points but could easily see a 2 or 1 point return.

We've lost 5 times to them mate. They were in the Conference for both of our first two seasons down there.

When I posted H2H results I noticed that Colchester v Wimbledon & Grimsby v Fleetwood had 5-0 wins to Wimbledon & Fleetwood.

If we get anything out of this i will be stunned. Obviously I'd snap anyone's hand off for a draw but it's going to be a (big) loss I think.

Oh wow I can only emember that season they beat us 2-0 opening day here and then that 2-1 away defeat where we were absolutely robbed by the referee and Vardy nearly got his head caved in by Rob Scott for celebrating in front of our bench.

Record against Fleetwood since they got into the EFL is W6 D6 L6 (1 FA cup win). My son is driving up from London and my elder daughter is training it down from north of Edinburgh. The first time that they've attended an away match together since 2004.

Not sure about this one, Matty Stevens was sporting an ice pack at full time on Saturday.

I think Jackson should probably freshen it up a bit. The same side has started the last 2 games. He won't change the defence .Kelly might come in for Browne . Jackson isn't keen on making too many changes is he !? He needs to be sensible though and give player's a rest if they need it. Ball and Maycock will be available for selection soon.

That's fantastic mate that both your kids are meeting up, and what better place than Fleetwood eh
Very even record between us , your on a very good run, we are ' rebuilding' under Pete Wild and the feeling is he'll do a good job given time.
I'll be happy with a point tonight, we have actually performed much better against the top teams than those nearer the bottom. Safe journey for both your bairns, I presume your meeting up with them which will be lovely for the family
Perhaps we'll be playing you in league 1 in a couple of years Ha Ha

I work evening shifts so no. Out of the three of us, I'm the only season ticket holder. The offspring only attend occasionally.

Looking likely we'll be without Garrity for a few weeks. Rumours circulating done his ankle in training, out for 8 weeks. Pretty much his season done if true. Big blow. Not played particularly well recently but his influence on the rest of the team is huge. Stats with and without him this season are ridiculous
