Any Carlisle fans making the trip tomorrow make sure you have an upto date covid passport or a recent negative latral flow test or you will be denied entry into the ground, this is due to our wonderful welsh government who have classed outdoor stadia the same as nightclubs, i like a lot more of our fans have had to rush to try and get a paper passport on time and if it don't come by tomorrow mornings post i and a lot of others won't be able to attend which will severely impact on the gate

As soon as port vale score (we might hold out for 15 minutes or so) it’s game over.

You know when you get that 1st goal against andorra, it’ll be like that.

If you’re looking to score either just punt a long ball down the middle and the defence will be thoroughly baffled, or if you fancy just have a corner, we will play that stupid tactic of having everyone back, but the caveat for you is that no-one will challenge and you’ll get a free header that way.

Don’t worry about the midfield as it does a disappearing act nearly as good as maddie mccann.

don’t worry about the forwards as they’ve not scored in 3 games and wouldn’t know what a goal was if it smacked them in the face.

Not going, no watching, no listening, not keeping upto date with the goal updates when port vale score.
I’ve watched in the shadows as you’ve slowly melted down this season Adam and I just wanted to let you know it’s deeply enjoyable reading and it hasn’t gone unnoticed

As our manager said, we play that game another 10 times and we win 9 of them. It was just one of those days, aided by a terrible refereeing performance.

We had a few things go against us but just didn't deal with balls into the box. When we actually got it down, we looked miles ahead ability wise.

What Sutton have is spirit and a never say die attitude. They also have a number of big lads and get it into the box at every opportunity. They'll pick up a number of points, particularly at home, but they'll struggle on bigger pitches against the better ability teams.

If you can get better at defending balls into the box then you have got a chance.
Your last sentence just about sums up our present plight. ‘We May have a chance of beating fucking Sutton’.

Jesus Christ!

We had the same from your lot last season and then you pummeled us 4-0! We did have a lot of people out that day but you were on a bad run.

I should be much more confident for this, as we're seemingly a different beast this year. But Mansfield always seem to put on a performance against us and the typical Vale thing to do would be to get easily beat.

What concerns me is that Clough probably needs a result to save his job, so I'm expecting them to be bang up for it.
Clarke absolutely slammed down on asking about the Mansfield game about just how tough it would be so hopefully we wont be taking it lightly based on that. It will be massively tough, they've good players and we are going to have to put in a top performance to win, anything less and we wont.

Big test for our newly assembled squad, the toughest yet. We've been good overall at withstanding pressure from our opponents and dealing with sticky moments in games this season particularly at home, 5 clean sheets from 6 home games tells its own story.

Doubt we'll continue with that Tuesday, our last 2 home games we've lost that goalscoring touch we had as well. Too many of our forward players rushing things IMO, need to try and relax and play with better cohesion. Mansfield we created enough chances to win the match, but Saturday we was toothless but that was partly down to our opponents. Playing with Harry Smith, its all too easy to take the easy option and just go long to him all the time - which does lead to us losing the ball, I doubt FGR constantly go long and try and hit Jamile Matt, they always try and stick to their passing game.

Also Jackett doesn't seem to have too much faith in our squad players, Harry Smith could well do with a rest at some point for a week, but no other striker we have can really play up front on their own. Ruel Sotiriou had a start on Saturday and didn't take it so I'd expect Aaron Drinan to get his place back.

Need Callum Reilly to get fit and into our midfield as the ball player option quickly to give us something different.

We've drawn alot of games recently, a draw here IMO wouldn't be a bad result. I have to say for the first time this season, I feel this is a game we won't win because FGR are probably the best passing side in this league from what I have seen and know how to win games, we're not quite at their level and Jacketts teams are more efficient than easy on the eye.

We do play decent stuff and like you say despite having Matt we don’t look to hit him early that often, it’s more about working the ball out wide to our wing backs who have been superb this season.

We’ll need to play a lot better then Saturday though, we’ve struggled to score against better defences at home in recent games, so if you’re solid and well organised you’ve got a decent chance of another clean sheet.

Would take a point.

Draw.

Nothing else to say
There will be a love in between our manager and your board. He will be saying what a great club Exeter are and what good people they have behind the scenes etc.

The match will be a good one but I'm obviously hoping we win ... while I'm stuck at work.

LFTs are an utter bag of turd. I've never had a negative LFT (ten and counting), and every time it's been disproven by a PCR. The world is a tedious place at the moment.

Good old Yems! He’s right, of course ha ha.

As for the game, Taylor hinted that we may have to make a few changes as some players are carrying a knock or two. Jevani Brown played on Saturday with a foot problem so wouldn’t be surprised if Padraig Amond came in for him. Also expect Kyle Taylor may get the nod ahead of Archie Collins who was off the pace on Saturday.

We’re 10 games unbeaten in the league
but 7 of those have been draws. Crawley always seem tough opposition and Nichols will want to notch one against us. Plus always rated Nadesan so I expect we will concede. I fancy this being quite high scoring again but can’t pick a result.

24 shots at goal, 2 on target, 11 corners vs 3 shots, 1 on target. 1-1. Just how it's going. Can't see us winning.

I’ve just remortgaged our house, pawned all my wife’s jewellery and emptied out our savings account and it’s all going on a Barrow home win.

I don’t think that every team to have beaten Mansfield this season has had to put in a top performance to beat them going by the Mansfield’s fans comments on here.

I cant comment on that but on their day any team can beat anyone else regardless of form, Oldham have been poor and won 3-0 for example. I never buy into this you just have to turn up to beat us comments from fans as it doesn't work like that (especially where Vale are concerned!) Colchester v Harrogate a prime example also, Colchester 1 shot on target 1-0.

Pretty certain FGR will roll us over tomorrow with the way we’ve been playing. Only bit of suspense will be to see if the yokels bring a 3 figure away following or not.

Of course we will. We took 678 to Brentford. Even had 114 at Carlisle. Would expect around 200 at least.

Chris there was only 73 at Scunthorpe on Saturday.
Expect same or similar on Tuesday.

Maybe. Didn’t go to Scunthorpe but will hopefully go tomorrow. Got a few fans based/work in the South East or not too far away from the M4 corridor. For example I work in Reading so should be just about doable if I can knock off around half 4.

When we played Orient 2 years ago we had 264 there. Even when we were struggling in the Conference we usually had around 100 at places like Dagenham. Always seem to take decent numbers (for us) to London.

TBF Scunthorpe is a nightmare journey and not an attractive destination, town- or ground-wise, and frankly our track record of being at or near or the top of the league playing teams at or near the bottom is not encouraging.... (Was amazed we had over 110 at Carlisle, which is obviously some trek, but in all other regards a great awayday).

Orient is by any measure an attractive destination, but it being a Tuesday night will bring numbers down a bit. I'd be surprised if we took over 100, and also think a draw or loss is a realistic outcome. We've been a bit off the boil lately, and Orient are good.

He won’t and shouldn’t be going anywhere.

We’ve had some genuinely rotten luck with injuries this season to date and also some terrible ref decisions, but neither of them add up as an excuse, especially the performance on saturday

I am looking forward to our visit to Harrogate tomorrow night. There is a lot of anticipation for this game on the Wirral, with Rovers building up a head of steam in recent weeks. Our allocation was sold out last week.

Harrogate's recent form is not that great, and I fancy us to get a narrow victory if the defensive wall does its job again. Keeping Armstrong, Muldoon and Diamond quiet will be key.
