I have nothing whatsoever against Sunderland but I would laugh my cotton socks off if they fell out of the playoffs. Being a big team is more a hinderance than a help in this league.

Professional performance for once, we tend to struggle in these type of games so I'm glad we finally managed to see it out.

2 huge games this week coming up.

Congrats on a fantastic win mate, well pleased for you and just shows it never over till the fat lady sings. As for Sunderland..........

Cracking result. Sunderland in free fall?
Cheers all we looked like a football team today with fight and passion, felt like I got my team back today. As for Sunderland it was if they only had to turn up to win but got a complete shock in the first half.

You got Ipswich next haven't you? Do us a favour and kill off their small chance of hitting the playoffs before they come to StadMK next week please. :gr:

What a mess that was. Punchups all over the place, inside and outside of the ground.

Can't blame Evatt for taking his players off if there has been racist comments. The idiot fan needs to be banned for life. It totally killed our momentum as well, as we looked comfortable and were seeing the game out. 3 points thrown away.

However, there's been comments of people near the incident saying there weren't any racist comments made and Evatt was just up to his usual touchline antics. Reports of Bolton subs calling women "slags" and there was stuff being chucked at our keeper, which is what kicked the whole debacle off. (He handed something to the ref - looked like a bottle, Bolton media saying a lighter)

I don't really know what to believe and we'll have to see what the FA do. It wouldn't shock me if there was a racist comment made but it also wouldn't shock me if there wasn't.

No one knows and it's all chinese whispers after all. I'll get stick for this no doubt, but It depends what the ref puts in his report. The policing was shocking, the stewarding was shocking and the officials were shocking (for both teams). A real bad day for the club.

Fair play to you mate on honest reporting as you saw it. Still a good result against the 'millionaires' from Bolton. No offense, Bolton did us a favour which we will need as we have some tough tough games ahead

Some of our fans were idiots too today and definitely threw a bottle and maybe a coin or lighter at the gk. There’s always a few at every club that ruin it for the rest.

I think it was the players on the bench that reporting the spitting and racist abuse to Evatt. And our players were absolutely furious. There’s no way that’s been made up. You can tell by the reaction and how angry our players were like Baptiste. Somebody saying on Facebook that they’ve heard the players call a woman a slag but didn’t hear any racism. Absolute bullshit. The whole set up with fans so close to an away bench is a recipe for disaster nowadays. And that’s at every club. Too much abuse/aggression towards players, staff and officials. I just can’t for the life of me understand why anybody would want to go to the football to do something like that. Just try to enjoy the game don’t start abusing players or throwing things at them.

From a footballing sense we didn’t deserve to win and both teams struggled in the weather. If anyone deserved to knick it I’d say it was you but that ridiculous red card decision was an injustice and thought it cost us the point. That decision didn’t help with our fans or our bench. Either way if there was racism it should be a life ban and if they identify who threw the coin/bottle etc it should be the same for our fans. No place for it.

Just seen the incident from the Rotherham game, shocking that, especially after a linesman was assaulted last match.

Third game something bad has happened. Must be getting dangerously close to points deduction.

Clearly helped them today as the penalty taker was rattled by it and missed and it won 2 points. Behaviour going unpunished and helping a team to gain points will only encourage it.

Fortunately the fan looked like a soft shit so the punch wouldn't have done much damage.

Completely out of the loop today so I couldn't tell you whether we were good, bad or indifferent!

No Jackson or Walsh today, and you wonder whether Appleton has saved them for Tuesday against Morecambe, which is now a big game! As are the Donny, Gillingham and Fleetwood games coming up!

But we're not gonna pick up points when your midfield is effectively McGrandles, Fiorini and Cullen i.e. one actual central midfielder. It's so, so weak in there and Appleton hasn't looked to improve or strengthen it all season and it's got a bit baffling tbh, it's such a huge area of the pitch in terms of defending and attacking.

Mindless idiots at Rotherham and Morecambe sadly .

No excuse for any form of personal abuse.

Got to agree these incidents are getting out of hand and the club has to be seen to clamp down by getting more stewards in to stop encroachments.

The two who ran on were caught and arrested and the Club issued lifetime bans immediately.

Regarding the penalty, if their player was affected by the incident, he should have passed on the responsibility to another team member.

Final thing though, is Accrington got exactly what they deserved regarding the result.
Falling down with no contact, wasting time from 10 minutes into the game, fouling off the ball combined with the worst refereeing I have ever witnessed combined to give us a game to try and forget,

Coleman moaning the game should have been abandoned, somehow I doubt he would be saying that if they had scored the penalty and the one that hit the post.

The thing is in the second half Accy showed they can play decent football and had us under enormous pressure, maybe Coleman should send them out to play instead of to cheat. Just a thought!

Agree two young kids probably pissed or drugged up, they have been arrested and banned for life but we will no doubt be fined because of their stupidity.

The antics from the Accy bench also directly incited the home fans so Coleman may need to look in the mirror as well. Still no excuse for going on the pitch however, good to see the club act swiftly and issue life bans straight after the game. Wonder what the little pricks thought on Sunday morning?

No doubt they were still bragging about it, he was apparently seen outside the police station laughing with his family.
Should ban the lot of them and they should be ordered to report to the police station from 2 to 5pm and 7 to 10pm on matchdays.
