No offence to Burton, and they might be looking at us in a similar way, but we need to be picking up a win here and with Morecambe the game after.

Having just had Rotherham and Ipswich, it's Burton and Morecambe before Wigan, Wednesday, Charlton and Sunderland in one order or another.

Think there's a chance both the Wigan and Sunderland games will be off as they're on international weekends?

Plymouth away, only thing I’m hoping for is that we don’t get embarrassed

It’s not this coming weekend and don’t be sarcastic we do have the requisite number even if 2 are in the U21’s

Us v Wycombe. Both teams doing OK. I'm sure we will score but the result will depend on how good or bad our defence plays on the night.

I'll go for 2-1 but I wouldn't be crying too much with a draw.

Morecambe at home tomorrow is a good match to build on Saturday’s decent performance. This squad is still finding its feet and has only really been together 2 or 3 weeks. Early signs are good, would fully expect us to be able to beat Morecambe at home.

Away at Rotherham on Saturday is a whole different prospect. 6/1 for a Crewe win currently on B365 says it all.

Odds-on again Vs Plymouth tomorrow. We've got one point from our last four games and sit in 15th. Plymouth have 14 points from their last six and sit in 4th place. No, I can't work it out either :dk:

If Plymouth take the lead tonight prepare for them to feign injury at any given moment.Thats what they did against us on Saturday.Yes they are well organised defensively but they are well coached in the dark arts. Some would call it game management.I'd call it cheating .Decent side other than that.

Decent is good enough to beat us at the moment. If we do lose then this will be the first time in the Cowley's managerial career that they've lost four league games on the bounce.

I have no idea what they'll go with up top tonight. I'm not sure they themselves know at the moment. They tried Harrison on Saturday but that didn't work. My guess is they'll go back to Marquis tonight and just pray that he can somehow find a goal, which he hasn't done all season.

Wigan away - last time we played there we properly shithoused our way to a 0-0 draw as they were on the way to the Premier League and we were on our way back to the basement.

I'll take another shithoused 0-0 off you right now if it was offered.

Our last two home games with Morecambe have been 5-0 and 6-0, so anything like that and I'd be delighted. Got a feeling it will be much tighter tonight. Probably 1-0 either way, hopfully to us with a moment of magic from J'neil Bennett.

No offence taken. I feel the same. Both of us have indifferent form so I’m sure both managers are targeting this game as a must win.

Couldn’t hang on. A point at Pompey is usually a good result, but not when you’re winning with hardly any time left. Oh well, onto Doncaster.

Couldn't have complained if we'd lost that. Plymouth look far more incisive going forward. Pretty entertaining game though.

So, that's Portsmouth joining Fleetwood on the Christmas card list!

In other news, Sunderland's second string smashed our second string in the League Cup.

Impressed with Argyle's Camara and Hardie tonight. Hardie took his goals really well and Camara was a real handful. Looks like my relegation prediction was way off.

As for us, worryingly our main plan seems to be keeper Bazunu hitting long diagonals to Curtis, hoping he can knock it on to someone. Not very inspiring. We seem to want to bombard teams, but we don't really have the tools up front for that. At least we've stopped the rot, I suppose.

Whilst I am obviously gutted at the last minute goal, a draw was a fair result. Portsmouth closed us down well and prevented us playing well, but we did look a bit more incisive upfront. I missed Hardie’s first as I was catching up on some work. Now onto Donnie where Trevor Kettle awaits, a rather worrying prospect for both sides.

Really strange game V the spotters last night.
They battered us first half and we should have been three down at the break.
Evans then addressed the lack of width at half time and we should have won in the end.
Had a very good shout for a pen turned down and hit the woodwork.
You could see how shaky Charlton looked when we finally got after them and a better side than us would have won.
All in all, over the 90 a draw probably a fair result.

We’re going back to the good old days of trying to shithouse survival whilst conceding 90 goals in a season with a -30 GD.

Playing like a team of individuals, a far cry from last season where our cohesion was our biggest strength. The goals we conceded last night were amateurish. The two full backs were poor defensively all night and the likes of Ainley and Kashket offered nothing.

Just gotta keep hoping the team clicks at some point because we do have some bloody good players; they just don’t have a clue what each other are doing. Saturday at Rotherham is probably a write off already.

Cambridge the most likely team to lose at home?
After three wins in four, against Burton, Bolton and Portsmouth, it seems odd to rate us that poorly but hey ho...
Hopefully everyone continues to underestimate us.

Early team news for us is no Hopper, Maguire or McGrandles. Bridcutt 50/50, Poole struggling.

Poole is easily sorted by Eyoma but we don't really have a like for like Hopper replacement and to lose Bridcutt and McGrandles at the same time would be difficult.

We had a good run out against Man City youth in the week given a bit more game time to those who have been on the bench. We do appear to look like we are starting to gel and definitely are more potent going forward. Only John, Taylor and Okenhibirie to come back now although they will strengthen us considerably. I doubt we will get anything out of the game tomorrow but expect us to make a game of it and Plymouth having to earn the points.
