Saturday is a huge game. We can’t really afford to lose it.

Exeter coming back now, 2-2 Tranmere. Maybe Tuesdays aren’t that great haha

After the Mansfield v FGR I kept the streaming service open, knowing that there are always immediate match highlights.
Did so today and it was amusing listening to Mark Cooper being prepped up for his post match interview with specific moments from the game.

What a wanker Danny Rowe is, so needlessly pushing our full-back into the wall at the side of the pitch

Well, from our perspective that was another very good away performance in tough conditions - I thought at half time it might take a mistake to settle the game and it did from the Carlisle Keeper Paul Farman who for no reason charged out of his goal to try and get to a loose ball he was never favourite for and Conor Wilkinson lobs him.

Jobi has made us alot tougher to beat this month apart from the Exeter game, we don't seem to make as many errors as a team anymore.

The conditions made that the worst game I've watched us in this season as spectacle 0-0 would've been the right result, I thought we edged the game chances wise, but we just don't seem to be as threatening as we was 3 months ago going forward we look laboured, but only have 2 fit strikers.

I still maintain we have the best keeper in this division in Lawrence Vigouroux, everything he did for us tonight may have looked simple enough, but he has really calmed us down this season. Superb kick for the assist as well.

I have to say I expect both sides to be playing each other next season, both don't look anywhere near good enough for the playoffs.

Think there must be a forcefield infront of our goal tonight, I am lost for words at how they haven't scored

Tranmere hit the inside of the post in injury time, inches away from completing the turnaround.

No complaints from me, we were asking for that with the way we set up. Grimsby now have a platform to go on a run and catch us.

Waited until 2 down to start playing, 22 shots on goal but only one converted. Says it all

Get in, wasn't pretty but on balance we were the slightly better side with slightly better chances.

5 unbeaten now, but we still realistically need 4 or 5 wins just to be in with a chance, so we are still down, but at least we are not down today.

Overall some decent results for us I think.

Would have to say with that draw Southend are now in last chance saloon and anything less than a win at Harrogate I don’t see any pathway for them to get out of it.

Well done to Grimsby though seems they’re fighting at least.

Before the game I'd have considered a draw as two dropped points, but Colchester could have been out of sight early in the second half so that is definitely a point gained.

We were poor up front again, and shaky at the back again. There's only so much we can attribute to tiredness.

I’m absolutely seething with Nya Kirby. 6 yards out. 1 one 1. Completely fucks it up. That could be a huge miss come the end of the season. Fuck sake.

Been better if Grimsby drew but keeps us above Barrow and Walsall and Southend need a 10 point swing from 9 and Grimsby 11 from 10.

I’d like to think though we’d take care of business ourselves though from here!
