Stevenage are a solid hardworking team, no idea how they are so low down the table.

Okonkwo chucking 2 goals in against a good defensive team left us too much to do in the end and the Racecourse just couldn't save us this time.

Markanday doing bits for Orient already I see. I think even L1 is probably still a level too low for him.

Barnsley went down to 10 men after a very harsh straight red...I mean there were plenty of other times Drysdale could have pulled out a card and didn't, but the sending off really took the wind out of Barnsley.

Decent side though I thought. I expect them to appeal the red though.

Another dull game involving Shrewsbury. It's certainly not going to be pretty to the end of the season. Quality free kick from Norwood to win it. Stockport deserved it over the 90. At least showed a bit of fight at the end without really creating much other than a Marquis header.

Hopefully Morgan Feeney is ok, didn't look good at the time.

3 wins in a row. 4 undefeated.
Last week we were 11 points from safety now it’s 3.
We nearly threw it away but somehow dug deep with a fantastic cross at the death for Burrell to win it. We have got some spirit now and on this form I fancy us to keep climbing the table. But, let’s not forget our defence always have a brain fart every game so I must not get carried away.
Barnsley away next.

Great goals tonight, check the OG out, Northampton looked decent, Bolton in advance talks with someone, as yet not disclose, Orient on fire

It'll be the playoffs for us from here when you're competing against quality like Birmingham and the penalty spot at Adams Park.

No idea where that came from.

Second half we were the better team...well until we scored. 17 shots, 6 on target and 58% possesion. That's a good away performance. Anderson, Camara and Heburn-Murphy was excellent for us tonight.

Just who do Sky get as commentators? Such great lines as 'Mansfield controlling the ball in this game (see possesion stat above)' 'Mansfield luring Crawley on, to hit them on the break'. Just popping down to give Nigel a blow job'....well OK. Not the last one but its terrible commentating.

A frustrating evening for us. Definitely didn't deserve to lose that 2-0. When we're shit, I'll hold my hands up, but felt we competed well. They looked dangerous on the break, but nothing much between the sides first half, Fletcher missed a sitter for them, Draper missed a chance for us. They went ahead with a ball over the top, O'Connor missed the header, Jackson missed the ball on the floor and it sneaks through to Fletcher who dinks it over the keeper.

2nd half, the game suited them. They could sit deep, time waste and break fast. A corner drops in the box and they get on the end of it and it kills off the game.

We score first in that game and reckon we'd win that. We huffed and puffed, Hackett did well after he came on, as did Hamilton, but they defended really well, not allowing any clean strikes from us. Did have ball in the net, but was offside.

I still have no idea how Blackpool are below us after seeing them in their games against us. I can see them putting a run together.

Worry for me is that's 2 disastrous performances in the last 3 games.
More away then home rest of the season.
Easy to get up for the big games but games like tonight concern me a lot. Bolton will improve now, Orient flying. Stockport chugging along nicely. Could end up in a battle to stay in the playoffs

Deserved victory for Crawley, you could see it being 1-0 a mile away.

This is our second bad patch but in the first one where we lost five in a row we genuinely got the short straw in pretty much all of them but in our last two games we’ve been genuinely monumentally shite.

Oh we lost Deji, our best defender and POTS too, so a miserable night all in.

Comfortable win in which we were rarely threatened and should have won by more. Probably our best game of the season for chance creation. Rovers were awful which helped.
Fair play to Burton for turning it around. By far the worst league one side Ive ever seen, so to get some confidence back into the squad is some achievement

Unsurprisingly, we lost. We’re just not good enough.

Surprisingly though, Ryan Loft scored his second in two games. And it was another good strike. #goalmachine

Well that would’ve been a great game for a neutral, pleasing that we took our chances in the first half and was clinical and basically put the game to bed.

Second half as expected there was a response from Exeter and we dropped off a bit, but still managed to get control back with two more goals. Azeem Abdulai again played well and took his hatrick well.

Last time we scored 6 away from home was against Exeter back in 1954.

Victory came at a price with injuries to Omar Beckles and Sean Clare.

Exeter were shocking at the back, but did cause us problems themselves going forward.

It's not rocket science. When we beat Orient in October we had three proper central defenders, today we had one and two numpties. Orient were good but we were dreadful. We are going down unless we sign someone players quickly.

Ugly win, it’s strange seeing us willing to dig in off the ball to see a game out rather than having possession for the sake of it usually chasing the game. Going from pass around the back at all costs to just get it forward in the matter of a week isn’t ideal but six points out of six to leave the new manager is what we needed. Collins in unreal form a proper match winner, just need a proper forward to help him out as Victor has totally underwhelmed since we rejected £1M for him last Jan. Thought Northampton played alright to be honest, passed it around well enough building up just lack the threat up top, also have that weapon of the long throw which is unsurprising as we used to utilise it very efficiently when Nolan played for us

Not suprised we've eventually lost at home, the last few performances - even when Fletcher got us out of jail with the late, late show - have been pretty meh, tbh.
It was gonna happen sooner or later, so let's see how we go on from this. Trouble being, we're on the (dodgy) road for a month now. PO's still be there at the end of the season hopefully, though we never get anything out of them fkers anyway!

60% of the ball second half but done nothing with it, and Bolton wrap it up on the counter. Toothless.
40% off that was Pinnock cleaning the ball with his shirt every time you got a throwing, only to throw it short....The odd occasion he threw it long he fouled threw.
Taylor looked tidy in midfield......You tried to play but look toothless up front.......Collins the little bit of quality on show tonight

Useless again. Charlton barely out of 2nd gear we made it so easy for them.

Just relegate us already and be done with it

Never seen Parky that animated in a post match interview. Suggesting that a lot of players didn't have fight in them and then he'll have to look closely for the next line up to pick players who will "fight for the badge".

It's only the 5th home league defeat we've ever had under him and it's bedlam.

Stockport County.
Social media saying Parkinson is fighting for his job.

Is it that bad? It would seem extremely harsh to sack him after this.

You only have to look over to Mansfield Town to see what failure really looks like.

We were honking tonight. We played better when Wycombe gubbed us 5 zip.

Shrewsbury fought hard but ultimately if they weren't going to take the bull by the horns and get something there, they never will.

Nah. Lovely goal on Saturday and a tap-in tonight, but his all-round play certainly hasn’t stood out as beyond the level. We’ll see how he goes; fitting into Wellens’ system can be a bit of a culture/body shock for some players and he’s only a little lad.

Just the 8 goals to enjoy tonight and the guy sounded like he was commentating on snooker. And that he hated snooker. And that the snooker was being played by Colin Robinson and Father Purcell (couple of excellent niche references there, if I do say so myself).

Not convinced their winner was onside and a point each was probably about right, but as Laker says I just don't think there's enough about us all things told.

Not falling into a traditional Monk slump is the entire order of business now. Not all is lost. Yet.

No it's not that bad. Just your standard over reaction after a loss that all the parasitic social. media accounts that have sprung up like 'Wrexham Insider' amplify.

It's a terrible performance but in a day or two calmer heads will prevail. Same thing happened last season when we lost to Bradford and Tranmere at home.
